Such a cool step back in time! The historical reenactments and period costumes really brought everything to life. There are so many buildings to explore and well laid out schedules. My absolute favorite was the apothecary demonstration—so fascinating to see how medicine was once practiced. The grounds are gorgeous. I do wish we had gotten there earlier—we ended up missing a few of the reenactments.

My friends and I attended the first, because of the brave 5k today. What a beautifully campus with over 20 structures a pond a bridge and so much history. The buildings are so beautiful and the grounds are kept up to perfection. What an important part of history.

We attended the Homeschool Day and my family and I LOVED IT! We're all history nuts and we had a wonderful time! It was beautiful, historical, and everyone was friendly. We didn't get to finish all of the events due to prior engagements, but we WILL be back! And bring others with us!

This place was awesome! We went to see the fireworks on July 4th. My only regret is that we didn't get there much earlier, when their day started, for all of the Independence Day activities. We will definitely be back there next year, and we will be there early!

It was $5 per person to get in for the fireworks show. We showed up at about 6:30pm. It was so much fun seeing the fireworks show. My toddler loved seeing the fireworks. We enjoyed walking around the grounds before the show. We walked into the Veterans memorial building, it's very beautiful inside and a nice tribute for the men and women who have lost their lives for our country. It was fun seeing actors in their costumes in the village. There is a replica of the liberty bell and Independence Hall. For the 4th of July show they had food trucks which we purchased the lemonade and fire roasted corn on the cob. Most of the food trucks had QR codes you could use to make your purchases which was helpful as we don't usually carry cash. The gift shop is cute with some books, memorabilia and wooden toys. We purchased a wooden helicopter for our toddler for $6 which I thought was a great price for the size of the toy. We would love to go in the fall and see the sights and learn about the 1700s and not have the crowds.

Always enjoy this lovely place. We saw & heard some great performances. That of Patrick Henry was outstanding. Thanks for all you do. Everybody needs a dose of patriotism. The grounds were lovely, the hosts were gracious, & there were decent food/treat choices.

Awesome history experience! I loved the reenactments and historic costumes. Lots of buildings to visit which take you to another time and place. My favorites were the Gathering Tree and the Oval Office. The grounds are beautiful and were a nice walk. There is a small fee, which Im sure supports the staff and upkeep. I wish i had arrived when they opened because we missed some of the reenactments. There are restrooms throughout the grounds.
