Great experience. Normal ticket price is like 15.75 but if you want a guided tour and access to the whole cave it’s just a little over 21 dollars. My favorite was the dragon, the elephant and the glow in the dark calcium! Be careful of where you step because there is plenty of water in the cave in certain spots. Elderly people may have difficulty getting around the whole cave due to steep stairs. However, my wife and I had a wonderful experience and we are very happy our first cave together was a cool one like this!

First trip was 2014 and we had to come again! Did not disappoint. This time we sprung for the longer tour with special access and you should do it if you aren’t taking lil kids! Gorgeous cave, cool tour and history. Worth your time for sure! Fun gift shop too!

Amazing experience and great staff! I love the self guided tour setup (you can get a guide on request), and it was great being able to spend as much time as you liked at each little marked stop. But what topped off the experience was the kitty we found at the end of the cave! They have 2 resident cats who are EXTREMELY friendly! 15$ per ticket was a great price point! This is a must see!

I wavered for a while before deciding on 4 stars. There is a lot going on here, some of it good and some of it bad. Let's get the bad out of the way. I've been to a lot of caves. This one has a boxwork formation, which is exotically rare, but it's also not one of the most beautiful formations out there. Other than that, it's really a run of the mill cave, and it's not huge. I have been to much better caves for a cheaper price, and the expense is the biggest drawback. They offer guided and unguided tours. If you decide to come here, pay the 6 extra dollars because the unguided is not even worth doing in my opinion (you only get to see about half the cave and you miss all the history). With that said, half of the tour is delivered through a headset. The other half is a physical guide. I think the reason for this is the first half of the cave is narrow and there are a lot of POIs in that short area. A tour group would be too crammed to see it all. It doesn't fix the fact that you are still only getting a half-guided tour. All that said, they have some of the nicest and friendliest tour guides. The only caves I've been to that might rival them here are Bridal Cave and Talking Rocks Caverns. Everyone on the tour seemed to really enjoy it, and it was their first time seeing black light effects on formations. Stark caverns does an entire black light tour, so it just didn't wow us. Also, they have some genuinely interesting history to share with you about the cave. Should I come?: If you've never been on a cave tour before or you have a completion goal (e.g. visit every cave in AR or see every rare formation in America), then I 100% suggest visiting. Should I not come?: if you've been to a variety of caves and have no kind of cave goal, I'd suggest skipping this one purely on price alone. If this cave dropped their prices about 10 bucks, I think this review would be 5 stars.

There are several interesting things to see in the cave. It's small and only takes about 30 minutes for the headphone tour, or you can do an hour guided tour. There are several uneven steps inside the cave. The multiple ramps to get down to the gift shop to purchase tickets and enter the cave is challenging to walk back up if someone has mobility issues. The gift shop is very nice and has some really beautiful items.

I had very little expectations when we decided to go to this cave. My mother dragged me to cave after cave when I was little and I just wasn’t into it. I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of Onxy cave. I had never seen a body of water in a cave and it was cool to see. The best part was our tour guide, Jared. Jared’s enthusiasm was contagious and by the end of the tour I was ready to go cave exploring! We really enjoyed ourselves and I may become a cave enthusiast thanks to Jared!

Our first cave tour in a long time. It was really peaceful and informational! Highly recommend the audio tour plus the guided tour together. Didn't catch the name of the young lady that guided us, but she was informational and super lovely to be around (she had very cool heart pants!). Do the gem panning too!! I also recommend the cats Flowstone and Onyx.
