Thanks to Babs at B&Q Barnstaple for helping supply us cardboard for Appledore carnival costumes. Babs on several occasions helped us out and I’m pleased to say we collected a good sum of money for charity and the icing on the cake we won best float overall. I give one star because Last week i needed a Hook and only one person from your company helped me that person Was elderly and they work there Young People were looking at the computer 4 People you need to help customers not 4 of you sitting together looking at the computer and customers looking for 30 minutes what they need Time is mony

If the b&q prices give you a heart attack there is a defibrillator outside the shop to the right of the main door ..... I wanted 500mm of 2.5mm twin and earth mains cable , b&q only have big reels of cable , i dont need a 100mtr reel of wire ... So i will have to look at other shops , on a plus point they did have a single mains socket and back box in stock at a good price .

Today I looked around for metal fixing straps, my husband said ask for firband , which I did ...the person on the desk was uninterested and said we dont have it so I've gone on line B@ Q. Have firband .what a shame I wanted to shop local not again 😕

No matter what you think of the store, just bear In mind that all the staff here are giving up their Easter weekend to ensure you can get everything you need for your house and Garden. Pleasant environment and much better layout than Wickes, staff friendly and more knowledgeable too.

I overload my basket as great discounts in store, and then couldn’t get leave in one go, Babs not only helped with the checkout but also got a trolley for me to help me get to my car. Very kind staff

A couple of days ago I popped into my local on Barnstaple B&q to buy some plants sadly there were non available but just as I was leaving the store Mathew a NEW member of staff asked if he could help me he was charming & so helpful
