Had the BEST day at Loxwood joust, will be returning next year. Wonderful day out no matter your age, was nice to see lots of families/kids and even dogs there. So much to do and so nice to disconnect from the real world for a minute and have fun! Everyone was lovely and the actors were great.

My friends and I just got back from camping for the weekend. Camping: We had an incredible time overall and will be back next year to camp again, fantastic atmosphere, great entertainment for the campers. The camping aspect felt very special, the entertainment was great, lovely atmosphere and we made plenty of friends. D&D on the Friday was so much fun and a really great way to kick off the weekend!! PLEASE also have The Captain’s Beard band back next year, they were absolutely fantastic on the Saturday evening. There were two big fire pits for everyone to sit around but only one of them were being lit for some reason, but there were lots of people so it would have been nice to have both pits lit. The camper food options and portion sizes were disappointing especially for the price so that is something that could be improved for next year. I know it can’t be helped that much but the camper toilets even after a few hours on the Friday the smell was crazy! So any improvements on that would be great :’). Also the showers were a bit of a dribble. Day festival: Jousting and fighting pits were fantastic the performers are top class, the quests were lots of fun and at £3 each, that felt like a fair fee, you get a keepsake medal at the end for solving the quest. They were lots of fun and a great way to see all of the little details and bits around the grounds, the actors were also great and it all felt very immersive! The queues for food were always quite long so a few more stalls would alleviate that and give more options. The food we did have though was tasty and we were happy with it. The Banquet on the Saturday was also great, the food was lovely and the entertainment was hilarious. It would have been nice to have a drink included with our meal, there were water jugs but they were empty majority of the time , the tent was sweltering hot and we had asked a few times for more water but I think they were too busy and it never materialised. So a few members of our party actually left before dessert came out because they were too hot, a better ventilation solution should be figured out ideally. I did the Archery training class (book in advance because they always sell out) and it was really fun and informative. The teacher was very knowledgable and made the experience super fun with stories and various targets we had to hit with different bits of story linking them, would definitely recommend booking! Overall, absolutely fantastic, well organised and curated. Loved the immersive ness, the quests, the decorations, the joust. We will definitely be back!!!

Good day out - lots of food, live music, stalls set up, plus the highlights of the jousting and the fighting. Great weather throughout as well, which helped the atmosphere, plus very friendly and helpful staff (all in character). Provided you book in advance, parking/entry/additional experiences were all very accessible.

Interesting overall, but the fight display at the end dragged on a bit and was just bad WWF. I think you had to have had some alcohol on board to enjoy it but as a driver I couldn't. I just wanted them to finish quicker so the overloud commentary would just cease and my ears would stop ringing. Jousting a little over-choreographed but trick riding afterwards was very good. Not really medieval history - should be advertised fantastical medieval kingdom, to explain the witches, elves, hobbits, manga characters etc. who arrived. Lots to do to keep you entertained for 8 hours. Quests etc. Food (hog roast for me) good even if slightly pricey. Vegan option available which apparently was also good. Birds of prey display excellent. Toilets ended up with long queues (a lot of drinking was going on) and smelt somewhat but I guess that fits with medieval atmosphere. Those taking part in the 'story' kept going for the whole day which was admirable. Very friendly atmosphere. Good car parking. Easy to get in and then easy to get out at end of the day.

First time here after seeing it on a friends social media page last year. Lots of options for kids and adults and lots of interactive activities both free and a small fee. Wish I had come for the whole weekend as its tough to fit everything in a day with a small child. Accessibility wise it is all on one floor but part of it is woodland so bear that in mind if you need a wheelchair or need assistance with uneven floor. I found it fine with a buggy but again it depends on individual abilities. Surface terrain is mentioned on website so I knew beforehand. The jousting was popular so people were reserving seats. Maybe having a buggy area would be a good idea so you didnt have to take up space or a bigger area infront of the front seating for floor seating for kids etc. Bus on the way back was late turning up by 30 mins but that was out of loxwood jousts hands so can't really fault them with that. Overall great experience for the whole family and medieval festival enthusiasts and I would come back again.

A really great day. Loads of people dressed up and having fun. Event was well organised with clear itineraries available and plenty of signage. If I could make one recommendation/request, a separate tent away from the crowds for those needing a "reset space" would be hugely appreciated. My daughter has additional needs and struggled with the crowds and noise at various points and a quiet/calm tent would have been a huge help.

Such a great event, fun for all the family! Dress up - go all out! Or go subtle or if dressing up isn't for you, wear your usual attire.. it doesnt matter but so much more fun if you get involved! Dogs allowed on leads and fresh water tap available for human and canine drinking (dog bowl also provided) however, i recommend having a spare dog bowl and bottle on your person as the space is large and you may not want to keep going back for water. Food and drink is at the prices to be expected at most events but cheaper than some events ive been to so not bank breaking! Loads of trinkets, clothing, souvenirs, etc for sale from the person wanting a little something just to mark the day to the person looking to spend a small fortune on a special sword or costume!
