A very cute cocktail bar . The service was very friendly, turned on the heaters and the promptly welcomed us in when there was space . Before receiving our cocktails we received some nibbles for free with was a lovely touch . Ordered are drinks and the espresso martini was truly the best we have ever had ! I tried a rhubarb and custard and was pleasantly surprised with the delicate yet sweet and delicious cocktail I received. Loved it ! Thank you for having us :]]

Been here a few times and always had a good time. Service from staff is always top, very friendly and quick service. Drinks are reasonable price as well for what you get. And the drinks themselves are always great, really nice and definitely a step above the standard drinks in most places.

Great place to enjoy the evening in a relaxed atmosphere. Great range of cocktails and staff more than willing to help with suggestions or even try new mixes. Irish coffee with a carribbean twist springs to mind .... Delicious!

One of the most surprising, comfortable and welcoming places I've ever stumbled upon. None if your usual commercial sourced food here, it's all carefully sourced and "boy" the difference is obvious. Well done you lovely people 👏. The really nice touch is the bill in a brilliant gold envelope with a considerate covering round sticker with "THE DAMAGE" PLUS LOGO. Lovely touch,- definitely on my "to return" list.

Saturday evening in Braintree and this place is doing it's best to bring some continental class to the old town. As we sat outside at their tables, drinking our cocktails, you could have imagined yourself in any European town for a second. The service was great, their friendly staff are very welcoming and our drinks were fantastic. I want to get back to try their German beers. They are doing a great job. The continental dream is easily shattered in Braintree. As we sat in the deserted pedestrianised street, the only passers-by were a drunk woman staggering home from one of the marketplace pubs at 6.30pm, and a few kids on bikes with man bags. It was early, so I hope a few more people were out for the evening. Braintree needs bars like this to bring some life into the town centre.

Absolutely amazing bar! There’s so much you could say about this, staff are friendly and extremely polite, food is amazing 🤩Coffee is really nice!!! And the drinks! Words could not describe it! Highly recommended

Staff are incredible....serving up some of the tastiest cocktails I've ever had. They pay close attention to individual ingredients, most of which is locally sourced. I would definitely recommend the cocktail making evenings. The cheese boards are amazing.

Popped in for a coffee and stayed for a sandwich as it sounded tempting. Surpassed my expectations, cured ham and chutney really high end ingredients. Friendly staff and great looking place. Totally recommend.
