5 of us visited one Sunday morning in late October. We purposefully arrived at 10am, an hour before the house opened, as we wanted to explore the estate and do a 3 mile circular walk. There are several routes clearly marked with walking arrows. Our route included woodland pathways and steep gradients, leading back up the hill to the church and round to the lake, taking in fantastic views across to the Malvern Hills. Sturdy walking boots would be advisable. There are 2 car parks - 1 at the top of the hill with toilets and an opportunity to visit the church. Also a large car park at the bottom of the driveway - a short, flat walk from the Manor house. The property is a must see. It has a homely well-loved feel, as though the owners still reside there. The NT volunteers are friendly and welcoming with extensive knowledge about the house. There is a café for refreshments, plenty of outside tables, the toilets are nearby and the entire space was clean and tidy. I would highly recommend stopping by.

Last minute decision to walk the dog and grab a coffee. Didn't visit manor house on this occasion just a gentle stroll around the apple orchard in the rain. Lovely winding path with plenty to see, activities for children and surrounded by nature. Coffee and hot sausages rolls from the small cafe in yard next to house. Lots of choice. Staff were welcoming and made our visit with their friendliness.

Free parking for national trust members. Over all it's a very nice house lots of history to it. There is remains of a roman church. The walk around the orchard was really great, it is great for kids aswell. There are lots of wooden animals to spot along the way.

The highlight of my short break to the area. Its a wonderful house and grounds. Very informal and volunteers brilliant and knowledgeable. The orchard is very interesting. Don't forget to leave a few crumbs for the sparrows at the cafe.

Had a lovely walk around the orchard which covers a lot of land. Picked a lot of damsons to make jam just gave a donation. The house was very interesting. Was able to get a cup of tea and snacks.

My second visit here to this beautiful place. My favourite national trust treasure. So cleverly presented with different eras in each room. When you do the house frame build in the attic... just a heads-up...look for the carpenters markings.

Beautiful location, highly interactive museum in the manor. The cafe was nice, helpful staff. Really well preserved buildings, with all the original charm, especially in the gatehouse. We really enjoyed the child-friendly activities, and the orchard. One of the loveliest National Trust places I have visited.
