I visited via a dance cruise. While we were there for about eight hours, I limited myself to walking from the pier to the casino/ballroom. We were having a dance there for a few hours. I've always been in love with Art Deco, and this was like a dream come true. I could've barely happily stayed there and never left. The people working were Friendly and helpful. We have a time of our lives, dancing in that magnificent ballroom.

We recently visited Catalina Island for the second time with a group of friends. During our first visit, we rented a golf cart to see the island. On our second visit, we decided to take the Bison Expedition through Catalina Island Company. It was such a great tour and I highly recommend it! We were able to see parts of the island most visitors don't get the opportunity to see, as it's protected land. It was beautiful and we saw 2 bison. Our tour guide, Cindy Lowe, was the best part! She shared tons of island knowledge, kept the atmosphere fun, and showed us a great time! 10/10

We went on the Bison Excursion with this company. Steve was our guide and he was awesome! It’s two hours. Bring a puffy jacket. It gets chilly especially in the late afternoon. Masks may be helpful if you have any issues with dust. I thought this tour was super fun and educational. Steve is an excellent driver and amazing at spotting animals. We saw a Bison, a hawk and a fox! My 16 year old loved it too. Highly recommend.

I went on the Bison Expedition Tour on 8/12/25 with the amazing tour guide Bear! He was super funny, informative, and a great driver. He did a great job making everyone feel welcome and comfortable on the tour. His storys were really well delivered. We saw many bison and even a baby fox. Great views of the island. This tour was my favorite part of my vacation!

First trip to Catalina. Hotel Atwater is gorgeous and just off the main thoroughfare. The staff are gracious and incredibly helpful. Precious at the front desk wonderful! We did the Avalon city tour (good to get an overview), the nighttime flying fish tour (amazing!), and the bison expedition with Cindy Lowe, who was knowledgeable and funny and an amazing driver over the old stagecoach road! We look forward to coming back.

We went on the Bison tour with Cindy Lowe as our tour guide. She was fantastic- funny, informative, and entertaining. The ride was in a Hummer and it was a pretty comfy ride. Some of it was very bumpy but that was kind of fun. We saw great views and learned about the history and agriculture of the island and saw a few bison too!

We had a party of 5 to the Eco Zipline Tour and we had the most amazing time!! It was my first time ever zip lining and it was truly an amazing experience!! Nick and Danny were fantastic in explaining everything and even encouraging when I panicked. As someone who’s terrified of heights, this was incredibly helpful!! They are entertaining while completely professional. Their banter and chat is hilarious. We try to visit the island at least once a year and I would 100% do this every time. It’s so much fun!!

Zip line tours We had an absolutely amazing time on our zip line tour with Zack and Jack! They were both so funny and made the whole experience so much fun from start to finish. Not only did they keep everyone laughing, but they were also incredibly knowledgeable and made sure we felt safe and comfortable the entire time. You can tell they really love what they do, and it made the adventure even better. If you’re thinking about booking a tour—definitely ask for Zack and Jack! They made it an unforgettable experience.
