Super dog friendly! Can be inside with AC or outside. Tastings $25 or $35 for non-members. Big grass area to picnic or for pet relief. This is a great spot to have a chill wine tasting session with friends. No food except a cheese board.

The grounds at Fess Parker are enormous and fantastic if you have kids! You could literally bring lawn games and throw around a football on the giant fields! The wine is high quality and completely worthy of an afternoon here. While I tend to enjoy the wine at nearby Zaca Mesa and Andrew Murray a teeny sliver more... the grounds here just make for such a wonderful day that it's worth putting on your list. Fantastic if you have kids (your kids even found a frog on the grounds once!), parties, and date nights alike, I'd definitely give Fess Parker a try.

Beautiful grounds and wine tasting rooms. You can bring a picnic lunch and relax under the trees. We did not have reservations but enjoyed wine on the patio. Took two bottles home!

Celebrated a friend's birthday here in picnic area. What a wonderful property. Highly recommended. Enjoy wine tasting in the stylish building or the relaxing patio. Beautiful grounds to stroll or take a guided horse tour of the 700 acre property set among rolling hills dotted with pastures and small ranches.

Great wine but the service is awful. Went here on a Wednesday midday took about 10-15 minutes to be greeted. We ended up buying a bottle as they said they didn’t have enough staff in a Wednesday to accommodate tasting. Went in for a second bottle and shocker it took another 15-20 minutes to buy a second bottle. I didn’t know it would be so hard to give them my money. The worst part was the phone was ringing pretty consistently while I waited. So they’re definitely losing out on business. Won’t be back as they clearly don’t want or need my money. Great wine though but avoid the winery you’re better off buying locally from a grocery store or wine store nearby. By the way, I wrote this whole review and I still haven’t been helped to buy my second bottle of wine.

I’m not a wine aficionado, but I know a good place when I see one. We were visiting family and had a very relaxing wine tasting in a beautiful setting with perfect California weather. The people working here were attentive hosts and very engaging. We had grown up watching Fess Parker movies as kids so that made it even more special.
