Sam's Club

I really love the store and the merchandise that is available for us, but the managers let the employees treat members horribly. The exit door line is always at the end of the store. Sometimes they only have one person working there and you’re waiting to just walk out with your groceries. This day, I did not wait in line and I decided to walk out of the exit door with my receipt that was already scanned and the employee at the exit door decided to start yelling at me demand demanded me to show her my receipt and that she knew who I was and if I didn’t do as I was told, she was going to get my membership suspended No employee should speak to a member the way that she did. Melody, I believe her name was I could be wrong. I spoke to a supervisor. Look like nothing happened They just told her to calm down and keep working. I felt like it doesn’t matter how the employees treat the member there’s no respect. If the employee would’ve spoke to me nicely with respect I believe the situation would have ended differently. And maybe if Supervisor that I spoke to would’ve helped with the The line at exit door instead of aggravating the situation that was already Out of control Things would’ve been different. Shopping at Sam’s can be a lovely experience, but sometimes Turn into an argument that should have never happened.

I took advantage of the Groupon offer to join Sam's Club for $45 & get a $45 gift card. You must do the offer online as it isn't available in the store. (I didn't know that in advance and I found out after standing in line inside the store for new membership. So save yourself some time and don't make the same mistake I did.) Today was my first time to go shopping at a Sam's Club and I really wanted to see what is offered for groceries being that consumes a big part of my monthly budget and what other consumers would have an interest in. 1) Saving $$$$ You definitely can save money at Sam's Club. 2) Quality of Products Offered Excellent fresh beef quality! As a cook and beef lover, I can see the quality with my eyes. Reviews on their store brand items are very positive in general. But until I personally try them, I don't have an opinion. 3) Food Selection The store was well stocked. Great looking fresh produce. Freezer and refrigerated selection was good too. However, not many choices on other grocery items. Which is understandable with limited space due to volume packaging.

While I do enjoy shopping in store...Today I made an order for pick up. Not the most pleasant pick up experience I ever had. So I waited for more than 25 minutes. I saw my order being wheeled out and I waved to the guy with the cart, he just kept walking by. I thought wow is it possible someone has the same order as I have. NOPE... After 10 more minutes and this guy checking every other vehicle on the opposite side of the row. I finally got his attention. At which time he informed me Im NOT in stall 2 for Curbside Pickup. Apparently, lm the idiot who didnt understand that this sign means Curbside Pickup for pharmacy only. But my ice cream bars were still frozen, and the whole watermelon was as sweet as could be.

LOVE, LOVE THE SCAN N GO FEATURE!!! Please, always keep it and just keep improving on it. But currently it's the best feature together with the scan feature at the fuel pumps. I skip going to Costco because I have to always remember to have my membership card when going to get fuel so I just skip it and just shop and fuel at Sam's instead. Awesome feature!

So when I first got the membership. The lady who sold it to me. Didn't tell me I'd get embarrassed by the cashier. Turns out because I didn't have the "expensive membership" they told me I had to wait in line till 10a.m. to able to check out. Not even Costco does this. And I've had their "lowest membership" . It was truly embarrassing having to put everything back in my cart and get sent to the back of the line. Never going back and I'm definitely sticking with Costco

As expected, lower prices are based on volume purchases which need to be kept under control, I plan to make back the $55/year entry fee eventually via those savings. I dislike having my purchases and receipts inspected at the exit, only an idiot would dare trying to steal a $10 item amongst the $200 total purchase knowing that they have their ID, address, credit card information and face.

This is the second year that I have had problems with my membership renewal. My membership is $45-$50 and as the months go by it changes or someone changes it to the Plus membership which costs $110 + tax. Which I already told them that I DO NOT want the Plus membership. I have the "Automatic Renewal Off" and you can see it in the picture that I posted. They went ahead as if I had automatic on and charged me $110 + $4.55 = $120.55 They charged it to my son's card when they tried to charge it on 2 different cards that I have in my account before and it got "Declined" I have been trying to call the closest Sam's Club near me that is 1 hour from my house in Palmdale, Ca. and no one answers. Last year they did the same thing to me and I had to go to the store just to get it fixed. Now I'm stuck with the membership they charged for because my son has already canceled the card they use to charged the $120 55. And because they are not going to want to give me back the extra $75.55 that they charged in cash. That's a rip-off and they make you pay that even if you have your "Auto Renewal Off." It's not fair that they do that, plus they also charge you shipping send for orders that you make online. I'm super disappointed with Sam's Club.
