Marine Lodge Miramar (On Military Base) Access Required

Amazing place with great service. I got the room with a slow sink. This place is perfect for golfing and close by to the gate.

Nice front desk folks!! rooms are older but beds and couches and love seats are comfortable. Room has a small refrigerator and microwave. Depending on which building you get the bathroom is really nice has lots of room and big shower. The cleaning folks do ok, the lead lady is rude though. On check out days you have till noon 5o check out but the lead lady or another of the staff will start knocking on your door about 9am to see when you are checking out. Even when you tell them what time you are checking out they will come back and ask again. For the price its not all bad though.

Look, these are cheap rooms. The beds are uncomfortable and very loudly squeaky. The restrooms are cramped and loud. The building needs updating. There is free laundry and you're right on base which can be nice. The front desk staff is pretty solid except for the lady who works during the day most days. Shes unfriendly, speaks very quietly and acts irritated if you ask her to repeat herself. The maids do an excellent job and are friendly. You get what you pay for and these rooms at $45 a night are no exception to that rule.

My Wife and I spent a week in San Diego visiting family and sightseeing. We stayed at the Marine Lodge at Miramar MCAS and could not be happier with our accomodations. Every experience from check in to check out was outstanding. The rooms are very nice and felt like a 1 bedroom apartment. Facility was extremely clean inside and out. I would like to mention Valerie who was so helpful in guiding us to the lodge by phone after the Gate Guard gave some less than stellar directions. I would not hesitate to recommend this lodge to any eligible personnel and look forward to staying there again.

All in all I can't complain much. Nice rooms and staff always keep them clean. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to the ice machine for some reason always being broken and the fact that there is a whole kitchen on the 2nd floor that we can't use. Living in a room with no way of cooking your own food since its "not authorized" makes it hard to eat healthy.

Pleasantly surpised today when we checked in. Room was available for early check in, staff was very pleasant and the room is very nice. We are vacationing in San Diego for a couple days.

I'm a picky world traveller. Queen suite is GREAT value for the money: Service, amenities, comfort, cleanliness, quiet, convenient, spacious. (Suite = Sink + Fridge, but no stove.) 2 minor suggestions: 1. Bar of soap would be nice vs Foam dispenser in shower only to wash hands. 2. Low flow shower head is LOW flow, so plan extra time to shower. (I know, cost consciousness Marines can't afford water lol)

Great rates and a clean well-maintained room! 4 the room I am in, it is $45 a night for the first person and $5 for each additional person. If you're not on orders, you can only use the rooms if there are ones left over. And you can only reserve them one night at a time.
