We had a fantastic stay at the Four Seasons Embarcadero in October 2024. My husband and I were in SF to get married at City Hall, and although we hadn’t told the them the reason for our visit prior to check in, they asked when we arrived and immediately went above and beyond to make our stay incredibly special. We were joined by some good friends who also stayed at the hotel. The rooms at the property are large, clean, and well appointed, with fantastic views of the city (we could see the Golden Gate Bridge as we had coffee each morning). The bathrooms were very nice, with separate tubs and standing showers. We used AMEX to book our stay, so had breakfast downstairs each morning, which was delicious and the servers were really friendly. If you want to save a little money on coffee, grab some when you walk in using the self serve stations. The property has a complimentary shuttle to locations nearby, which we used to get to dinner on a few occasions when it was raining. One of the big surprises we came back to was a congratulations sign with champagne and balloons in our room. It was a simple gesture, but something we will never forget. We also spoke to several members of the team as we left for City Hall who told us their own wedding stories, which we really enjoyed and treasured. Another example of the team going above and beyond was one of the doormen letting us keep a rental car parked out front while we finished breakfast - extremely generous and unexpected (we were going to take turns circling the block while we each finished). It truly was a trip we won’t forget and that was in large part due to our experience at the Four Seasons Embarcadero.

I was in San Fran for work and stayed here due to its proximity to my office. The hotel is very nicely appointed and staff very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, comfortable and had a great view! The restaurant on property is good and service thoughtful and attentive, but it’s hard to compete with neighboring options. I loved the location and was able to walk to all my destinations. I will also say that I felt safe. San Fran has really improved in that regard. Provided the rates are reasonable, this will be my go to hotel anytime I’m in town for work. Many thanks to the fantastic team!!!

I have been many times and it is always truly a five-star experience from start to finish. The property itself is stunning, featuring beautiful architecture and luxurious amenities that make you feel pampered at every turn. The food at the hotel is exceptional, and the room service was perfect—prompt, delicious, and delivered with a smile. I especially appreciated how the staff went out of their way to ensure that every meal was a delightful experience. What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible team at the front desk and valet/ guest services who consistently demonstrate a commitment to excellence. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The front desk staff were not only friendly but also genuinely helpful. They are truly amazing! I was particularly touched by how the hotel celebrates special moments with guests. They went above and beyond to acknowledge my birthday and anniversaries, which made me feel truly valued and appreciated. Their attention to detail and thoughtful gestures show just how much they care about their guests. In summary, while the Four Seasons boasts beautiful surroundings and excellent amenities, it is the outstanding personnel that elevate this hotel to a five-star experience. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough.

Loved our stay here. Loved the restaurant. The entire staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. The view from the room was spectacular.||Maybe that’s why I left my wallet in the room - distracted by the view. Or maybe I was just dumb.||Staff saved the day. I discovered I was without my wallet at SFO. I’m going to Mexico early tomorrow morning. I called guest services and won the jackpot when Rosemary (the concierge) answered. She was on it, found my wallet right away, security checked everything out with me, and within a matter of minutes smiling Rosemary was in a taxi to deliver my wallet to me personally at SFO.||She is outstanding. Can’t wait to come back. I love San Francisco and have stayed at most of the top hotels. This one is my favorite. I think every other hotel would disappoint simply because of the view and a staff that cannot be beat. PS: The health club was perfect for me - it has a very nice ERG, a major bonus for me.

This was without a doubt, one of my most memorable Hotel stays in 2024. From the moment of check in by agent - Sequoia to meeting the bar tender Anton with his delicious one of the kind secret cocktails to the special anniversary set up done by the Sales and the GM. We were truly touched and not to mention the stunning breath taking view from our room. The location and the intimate size of the hotel, make it so unique in SF. Definitely coming back to stay in the future.

Four Seasons Hotel at Embarcadero, San Francisco / Premier Bridge-View Room, One king bed room. It was the first time my husband and I had visited San Francisco and after carefully reviewing all of the hotel options in the area, we chose Four Seasons at Embarcadero. After staying there, we are completely assured that we made the right choice. The site and hotel are like an oasis in the downtown area of San Fran. Impeccably maintained and well appointed with the utmost level of service and professionalism from the staff and valets. We wouldn't change a thing! The valets took excellent care of our SUV and luggage - we never had to wait more than a few minutes to get our car. They were really on top of things. Every person we dealt with in the valet area were on point as well as cordial and welcoming. The room....can we talk about the room? Spacious and above average on the cleanliness scale...coming from a clean freak like me that's the highest praise I could give. We always do a bed bug check and this room was sanitary to the core, absolutely zero sign of bed bugs or any other creepy crawlies. When I say flawless, I mean Flawless. We had more than plenty of room to comfortably sprawl out and they were generous enough to quickly provide us with an extra luggage rack for our additional suitcase. The shower had everything we look for including rain shower plus a handheld which is super convenient. A notable stand out were the views from the room. There were windows spanning two walls in our corner room. We had spectacular views that included the Golden Gate bridge, Bay bridge and Alcatraz. Location wise, it was away from the noisier areas, but still in walking distance from Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, the pier, cable car stops and tons of places to shop or eat. We were 100% pleased with our stay at the Four Seasons and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to visit San Fran. It was the ultimate experience. I also highly recommend using Waymo to get around. We found it to be extremely efficient, cost effective, fun and a memorable highlight to our time there. It picked up and dropped us off right in front of the Four Seasons and we never needed to wait more than mere minutes to get a ride. It also allowed us to sight see the neighborhoods while getting from point A to B. Thank you, Four Seasons, for exceeding our expectations and providing us with a phenomenal experience.

The was an amazing hotel with first class service. The reception and concierge teams were friendly, welcoming & always greeted you personally. I went for a golden gate corner suite which didn’t disappoint and had stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz & downtown San Francisco. The suite was clean, quiet, with a comfy bed and they catered for my dairy intolerance. ||The only downside was housekeeping often didn’t leave enough time when entering for turndown. Other than that would highly recommend.

While the Four Seasons Embarcadero offers great views of San Francisco, the overall experience falls short of expectations. The lobby is surprisingly small and uninviting, and the rooms, while adequate, feel uninspired and lack the warmth or luxury one might expect from a hotel of this caliber. The atmosphere is sterile, and while all basic amenities are present, the experience lacks the charm and attention to detail found in comparable high-end properties in San Francisco. Disappointing for the price point and brand reputation.
