Interesting facts around the woodland walk about Arthur, kids loved the play area and the quiz sheet kept them interested and occupied. Great start to the morning and only £20 for us 4. English heritage affiliated as well!

Ah, lovely place to visit if you’re passing. Privately owned and likely to be a big hit with the kids. Nice to have read a bit more about King Arthur and some of the myths and how the vale formed part of that history

Great place to visit, free parking 🅿️, a nice gift shop🎁 and cafe with delicious homemade cakes 😋🍰. Lovely walks with trails to follow and hidden gems around every corner. Lots of history to discover⚔️, play park for the kids and gardens to enjoy. Family entry for £20 was well worth it, we all had a great afternoon 👍

Un commercialised historical site. Owner very informative , very peaceful and calm place. Nice cafe to enjoy tea and cake etc .cafe and small museum wheelchair accessible but outside walk not . Good place for children.

Very nice little cafe tucked away near slaughter bridge. Kiddies toys and nick nacks ,books etc. Very quiet and peaceful albeit for the odd car driving by on the road outside. Enjoyed a cream tea in the garden. An array of tempting cakes on offer as you walk in. Theres a 500 metre circular walk through woodland , an archeological dig , the river camel and river Alan. Theres also kids play area too. Well worth a visit

Had a fantastic walk around this afternoon. The kids loved the Halloween trail while I soaked up the history and archaeological finds. We had a delicious lunch which included mummy sausage rolls. A lovely visit to this family run business.

A place of interest.. With a medieval dig being uncovered.. And supposedly the sight of King Arthur's final battle. A nice area for a walk and some play space for children. It's been open 25 years and I feel it has probably unchanged since the day it opened which is a shame as I think it could deliver a lot more for adults. Hot drinks and cakes are avaiable.. This is one for good weather days, take a picnic, fancy dress for the kids and let their imagination entertain themselves.

Quaint. Rather esoteric DVD as intro. This really needs updating to something more factual. Little shop and café serves basics. Some interesting gifts to be had in the shop. We had a go at the free brass rubbing, which was fun. There's a good path around the outdoor exhibits, which include the remains of a long house, Arthur's stone 😉 and a pretty walk through the woodlands. Small children's play area. Dogs allowed on lead. Parking was easy, even for a 7 metre motorhome.
