The Old Store Guest House

Nice en suite bathroom. Comfortable, warm room. Would have been happier with a second chair. Double glazing kept out traffic noise. Friendly service at breakfast. Good choice of cooked breakfasts. Good bus connection to Chichester if you need it. Would recommend.

Very nice guest house. Self check in was a breeze, clear instructions and contact information available if needed. The room was a good size with a very comfy bed and tidy en-suite. Tea, coffee and snacks are available in the room, with proper milk also available! Chef was super energetic and friendly at breakfast. Breakfast was very tasty and set us up for the day. You can arrange packed lunches with them (Only found that out when we arrived late, but will take advantage of that next time). Absolutely lovely place to stay and a good price too. Will definitely choose to stay there again, if we're back in the area.

Only stayed for one night, arrived late and left early. Nevertheless, I had a great encounter with Matt (the owner) who helped out with beverages late night and a nice chat. He provided an early breakfast (before opening) and made the stay very comfortable. Room was cosy and clean, with some love for detail. All in all a very warm and welcoming atmostphere. |Happy to come again!

Lovely guest house, very clean, comfortable beds and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice and well presented. |The host/owner Matt was very helpful and boy does he work hard! Made us feel well at home. ||Great location peaceful and would definitely recommend a stay here if you're looking for somewhere in the vicinity.

The Old Store was amazing! Even better than the description and pictures. The setting and parking were brilliant. And the owners are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the dining room was very pretty. Very convenient and delicious pub across the road for dinner was a bonus.

We needed to be close for Chichester for the University’s Open Day and this is just 15 minutes or less in the car, but in a quiet village. The room was lovely and the whole place has beautiful decor. The cooked breakfast was terrific and service excellent. If my daughter comes to uni here, I’ll be back to visit… and very likely staying here!

What a gem of a place the Old Store is. Guest experience from beginning to end was wonderful. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and Matt was the perfect host. It's clear that this place is loved and for that we'll definitely be back.

A lovely cosy and very clean guesthouse. We stayed one night in the king room which was bright and comfortable. The breakfast choices were plentiful and the hot options were cooked freshly to order. Matt was very friendly and welcoming.
