My best friend and I had a wonderful spa day with a treatment and afternoon tea, all the staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. The lady in the restaurant where we started our day and had our afternoon tea was very friendly and made us feel very special. The facilities were all very good and close together, also the bed with your name on it was a touch of genius…. as we have never had a bed reserved for the day before and it meant you could really relax, the fruit bowl was a good idea too! The beds outside were also very comfortable. Thanks very much, we will be back soon. Really relaxing day xxx 🙂🤩🙂

Lovely place, two 18 hole courses. Could only play one as it was raining and only one had buggy paths. That course was quite scruffy compared to previous visits. The food rooms bar etc were very satisfactory. The staff were very professional and pleasant.

I booked in for a 2 night stay for my daughter's 50th birthday. Everything we needed was provided. Just a little confusion about the spa. Although this was quickly resolved by Jessica on main reception. Many Thanks.

What great value for money. We traveled up there as a group of four, on a Sunday saver golfing deal. Two rounds of golf, one on each course, three course meal, and a full English breakfast £200pp. The hotel room was really nice, modern, clean, with a fantastic shower. The three course meal was much better than I was expecting, served in a lovely restaurant with very attentive waiting staff. The breakfast was also very good, served buffet style using good quality produce. We all found the Constable course the better of the two, with better tee boxes and layout. The only slight downside was the driving range being nowhere near the first tee boxes, and you can't drive the buggy to it. So you need to put your clubs back in the car, drive up to the range, do your stuff, reload the car, drive back and then try and park for a second time. The second day we just used the warm-up nets near the first tee. All in all a very nice trip, and fantastic value for money given the standard of the room and quality of the food.

On the positive side, the golf courses are very impressive and it was good to see so many youngsters encouraged to play there.||However, if you are a hotel guest and the Lakes restaurant is fully booked there are very limited food choices on site for an evening meal. It's mainly fry-up, pub-chain grub. Find a peaceful spot away from the loud bars and you're driven back to your room by the brain-numbing background music. There you have to put up with a thumping disco beat from events rooms on the ground floor below. ||Go down for breakfast next morning and be faced with a selection of mini cereal boxes, greasy fried hot food, self-serve machine tea or coffee and dry pastries - all offered to the accompaniment of loud country and western music. ||All in all good golf and a comfortable room but a very disappointing stay; I'm glad I only stayed one night - it will be the last.

Just got back from an amazing golf break with friends at SBN. |We used to come here regularly but had been going to various other places for the past 9 years, before deciding to return.|The place is fantastic!! |All the staff were really helpful and nothing was too much hassle.|We stayed in the lodges which were really well equipped and comfortable. |We used all the practice facilities which were great, although the door to the driving range is a bit of a pain when you're carrying your bag!|The courses were in great condition, especially considering the scorching summer we've just had.|We watched the Ryder Cup in the sports bar where there are plenty of TV's, including outside and then went back to the lodges to carry on watching it as they all had Sky Sports... nice touch!|Dinner was great, we ate in the sports bar every night and the food was really good. We decided we wanted to sit outside on the Sunday evening to watch the Ryder Cup as it was a nice(ish) evening and they had outside heaters and they agreed we could swap our dinner choices for a pizza each from the pizza bar, which again was fantastic.|All in all, this was a fantastic break in a brilliant resort with staff who can't do enough for you and we will definitely be back again soon!

Stayed here last week for a 1 night golf break and had a fantastic time - cannot fault it in any way. I booked the offer via YourGolfTravel which was a breeze, allocating requested tee times and accessed via their handy app. The facilities and the service at the hotel were second to none. Nice big comfortable rooms, with modern bathroom and big TV. Reception staff were friendly and helpful upon check in. Service by Bar and restaurant staff was friendly and super attentive. Was particularly impressed by the 3 course dinner and the wine list was great too. The golf courses are in great condition and both courses were challenging and visually impressive with beautiful scenery. Will certainly be booking again for a return trip next year. Cheers!

Can be a bit tricky to get to depending on traffic. Reasonable food at a good price well attended. Rooms were spacious and air conditioned. Brilliant service and helpful staff. The front desk receptionist was pleasant, welcoming and helpful. Went the extra to help. The sports bar staff kept going while being extremely busy and having workmen doing electrical repairs. Such composure. I highly recommend visiting and staying here. Both golf courses (Gainsborough and Constable) were in good condition considering the heat and dry weather.
