If I could leave zero stars I would. We has an item we bought a while ago and finally opened it due to it being the correct time of the year. Come to find out many of the pieces were I correct, and the connectors were completely wrong. The decades of retail trained me to call to ensure the item can be exchanged. The young man I spoke with confirmed we could exchange and they had the item in stock. We drove over 40 minutes to exchange. Once walking in the young man and the "manger" Robert started to talk about us, right in front of us with no acknowledgement we were there. I politely said I had a question about a return, and we spoke to a person who confirmed it was possible. Even before I was completely finished he rudely stated no, I don't know who told you that. Explained the prior conversation and again told us there was no possible way they could plus the box is open, we had to open the box to see the issue! A different manger looked like she was leaving for the day and joined the conversation. We explained what happened and she stated that we were over the 90 day return policy so they could do nothing for us. Granted she was more polite when speaking to us but still stuck to the answer being no, even though we were told yes. Robert, and the lady stepped away to "make some calls" and came back. It was obvious that it was for them to speak about us. Once they came back still deciding they were unable to help a loyal customer they directed us to only call the items warranty line or their corporate customer service. All we wanted was a swap for the same item, no money and they still denied to hold to what their customer service lead told us. The female was always calm and respectful when speaking but Robert everytime he spoke had a rude demeaning tone. In addition he made sure to do this in front of numerous customers. Robert should not be in a leadership role. Left a very bad experience for me and my family. We wanted this item for our child, but we were made to look like fools.

The store was clean and well stocked, except for several broken christmas decorations in the holiday clearance shelves. Two of the clerks were cold and pretty rude, wasn't greeted by either but coldly told one register was closed followed by a comment about the sign she had up that I missed because other patrons were blocking it. The other was pretty annoyed that I was waiting for the tap option to show on the credit card machine, not knowing they don't have that function. Just not as pleasant as many other Hobby Lobby stores. I was just at Kohls, where their customer service representative told me to have a blessed day and was very patient and welcoming.

Barnes location update: GORGEOUS yarns at highly competitive prices and a HUGE selection to choose from! I was really blown away. They also have "specialty yarn" with silver fibers woven in. I was so amazed I told one of the asdociates: "You have really beautiful yarn." Skeins have prices right on the label. I know from now on, I will buy my yarn here. They have 100% cotton, washable wool, bamboo fiber blends, lush chenille and so more more! Previously I came in early Friday evening. Store quieter than any other time I've visited. (Maybe Friday evenings are the best time to shop.) The store was neat, and I was impressed at how it was stocked and all items had been pulled forward in their spaces. What I loved the most this day, for my project, was craft acrylic paint sections! I was thrilled, in fact! I'd been on exhaustive hunt for a metallic finish acrylic paint from a specific brand. Other brands just didn't have comparable shade. I couldn't find this particular one ANYWHERE! Not even Amazon or Walmart. HOBBY LOBBY carried it!! Now that I know they have this line of paint and have other great paints with multiple finishes, I'll visit more often. Price was the same as the other retailers. At this location, over time, I've gotten Copic markers, art papers, ornamental cross, picture frames, "bridal" and Swarovski ribbons, specialty papers, notions sold out other places, unique knobs for a cart with drawers, Christmas decor, wreath and garlands, a piece of furniture and unique 100% cotton fabrics (quilting) I haven't seen elsewhere. Many days, I bought items, I was lucky to catch 50% off sales. While they do not price match, they have great sales. Visiting again only reminded me how much I like this store!

A great place for hobbyists! There are always great deals and we visited during a big sale where they were marking down their spring stuff, but also much of their fall items were also on sale. They have stuff all the time. We picked up a few items for fall decor during this time. They also have wedding stuff, yarn, paints, frames, fake flowers, fabrics, and plenty of home decor and signs for all of the rooms in your home.

Hobby Lobby offers a variety of home decor items and fabric selections. They give up to 40% off with their weekly ads. I came in for a couple of yards of fabric for my mom’s quilting project. The fabric attendant was very helpful and knowledgeable about the different types of fabric. She quickly helped me and got me on my way. There was a bit of a line in checking out. A few more cashiers came to assist while I was checking out.
