We visited this at the end of our Northumberland holiday, it's a great use of land that otherwise would just be waste land. Gravel paths all round, great for dog walking, the view points lead to good views of the surrounding countryside. Unfortunately you don't really get high enough to appreciate the whole figure from one point in my opinion. Plenty of bins on the path leading to the figure. A bug hunt for children in amongst the trees just after the cafe. Great cafe, staff very friendly, a wide choice of food, drinks and cakes available. Plenty of car parking available when we visited early Saturday morning, but the car park is a good size. Finally, there's a donation bucket with a recommended donation of £3 (August 3025), otherwise it's free.

Artwork on an immense scale, the largest sculpture of a person in world (according to their blurb). It isn't until you get to it and walk the many paths around it that you realise how large it is. Kids love being able to walk around a lady's face and body! The views from the forehead are amazing right up towards the Scottish borders, with Newcastle Airport visible you can also watch planes on final approach. Fabulous coffee shop with home cooked fayre, also dog friendly. Free parking too

What a great way to repurpose some open surface mining land. Clever idea to make a land sculpture that you can walk round and over. Well worth a visit. We'll be back to try out the cafe next time. Plenty of free car parking space too.

It's a great place to walk or run. I've included a video for those planning to visit. All I can say is: bring your family, kids, and friends. It's worth it. It is worth visiting this place, there is an interesting park for children right next to Lady of the North. I forgot to add, I recommend buying milk from the machine in the parking lot. Wonderful, fresh taste.

What a fantastic place to go for a walk! The views are beautiful and plenty of paths to walk around. It’s dog friendly and not too muddy. There is a cafe and toilet by the entrance and plenty of free parking. There is a woodland walk just by the entrance to the ‘lady’.

A nice, well maintained place to go for a walk with kids, dogs or just on your own which is also free (but there is donation box at the entrance if you want to help towards maintenance). There is a big free carpark and I pleasant woodland walk before you reach the lady. The lady itself is not really visible to you from land but you can wall all around on solid paths or go off track and walk on the grass. The walk to the highest point is quite steep but on large wooden steps so not a difficult climb.
