First of all, the staff is really awesome. The girls are really great! Positive energy 🤗🩵 They make great coffee and delicious breakfasts. I recommend toast with egg and avocado 🥑 and with mozzarella and their homemade pesto 🤤

Lovely little cafe at the far end of Croydon near the flyover. Cannot fault the food - had avocado on toast with boiled egg and was delicious. Saw some other food coming out, and all looked fresh and lovely! Coffee is lovely - no skimmed milk, but they have semi-skimmed. Sweetners upon request. I dined in, but be warned there are only 2 tables (that I could see), so I'd say it's more of a takeaway option rather than sit and chat as there isn't much room. However, steady flow of customers (late Friday morning), so it's a popular place. Good value.

Crushed bean is such a joyful, delicious little gem. Honestly the coffee is exquisite, the cakes are delicious and the vibes are just right. The place is bright and sunny (they also have more searing in the basement but I’ve never made my way there). I love random little laugh with toe women working there, it just feels like you are welcomed.

The coffee is always well made, and I’ve really enjoyed their banana and walnut bread— fresh and delicious. The service is consistently great; the team is welcoming and genuinely engaging, which feels increasingly rare in hospitality these days. A nice extra touch: they even gave me a loyalty card with my previous visits already stamped, without me even asking. Little things like that really make a difference. I wouldn’t think to get a coffee anywhere else in Croydon — not just out of loyalty, but because of the outstanding quality of both the product and the service. Highly recommend!
