Home Farm & Lodge

What a wonderful, calm and relaxing place to stay. Hosts were so warm and welcoming. Family friendly on all counts. Rooms all superb, beautiful furnished and so comfortable. Where do I start with breakfast……..so plentiful and yummy. All provisions of an exceptional standard, could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.

Liked: Lovely one night stay, we had the site to ourselves. Was private and all enclosed which was great for little ones. They loved the goats and chickens and sitting on the tractors. Disliked: Nothing, basic site but does what it says on the tin. We had camper vans so had everything we needed.

Such a beautiful spot, with amazing rooms that are spacious and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need! Kerry was so welcoming and couldn't do enough to make sure we got settled and comfortable. Couldn't recommend enough!...also such great value.

With friends, we stopped overnight in Barry so they could check on a relative. Our ground floor room was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed. From the comfortable sofas to the large double bed, there was so much attention to detail. All of the toiletries and washing up liquid were fr9m a natural range. The breakfast that was left for you included the most delicious locally baked bread, a selection of cereals and yoghurts, a basket of fruit, fresh milk in a bottle, as well as plenty of butter, jams and of course tea and coffee. 5 star all the way Don’t forget to wander around the garden and discover the lovely seating areas where you can sit and relax

Liked: Touring pitches were large and set in an interesting garden/farm with animals and attractive planting. Owner was friendly. The site makes a good stopover when travelling, with good access to major roads. Pub is literally next door, service there was friendly and food acceptable but expensive. Disliked: We felt it was somewhat overpriced considering the lack of facilities, literally just a water tap. Most of the basic stopovers we use do offer some kind of grey water disposal at the very least.

Room was amazing, everything you could possibly need supplied...and more. Hosts on site and both helpful and friendly. Location lovely. Will definitely book again. Highly recommended 👌

Amazing rooms with more than anyone could need down to organic food for breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, milk, yoghurt & juice in fridge to natural bath and shampoo products that feel good and loofah in bathroom. Clean, handy, amazing outdoor area to sit & enjoy

This is a lovely place to stay so clean and very tidy, The room I stayed in was spotless everything was just perfect, the buffet breakfast which is left in the room for you is great you can wake up and have it whenever you want. Nice big powerful shower too which was lovely after a long drive. I would definitely stay here again. Richard and Kerry are very welcoming and helpful and nothing is to much trouble for them.
