Wow. Popped in for a Sunday carvery. The best I've ever enjoyed. Couldn't believe my luck. Absolutely everything was cooked perfectly and hot. Loads of meats too. Full size carvery and a pint for £20. Staff and the chef are so pleasant and friendly. Thank you so much and will be back on my next visit.

I didn’t stay here but talking to others I heard great things. I ate here every day for the best part of a week - really good home made food served with kindness. The whole team worked really hard to make every customer experience a good one. A big bonus was the local Welsh beer as well as the normal international choice. Thanks to all

We stayed at The Springfield Hotel for two nights and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped – a real home from home.||The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, always on hand with a smile and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious each morning, with plenty of choice and everything cooked to perfection.||The location was ideal – peaceful, yet within easy reach of local attractions. All in all, a lovely place to stay and excellent value for money. We’d happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Summary of my experience there - went there for food - had to wait 40 minutes before the bartender said that they had lost the order - gave the order again with the promise of a partial refund that they offered - played and watched pool whilst waiting - got a ~70% refund for my order, and one of the deserts got substituted for a different variant that was not on the menu - went back to my tent and had the food 8/10 - was way, way above my expectations of food in this small little hamlet, my only critique is that the patty for my Chicken Burger was way hotter than the salad or buns, could utilise some sort of heat lamp like in the chippies? As well as my burger missing sauce, bbq was listed on the menu yet was not in the burger on any layer.

Very clean hotel and great value for money, my only slight negativity was we never saw a member of staff during our stay, the card was left on the desk for us and we appeared to be the only occupants. ||That said, the room was great, spacious with two bedrooms, never got to try the food as it all seemed closed down. I would imaging this would be a lovely place to stay in the summer.

Popped in here for a couple of pints after we visited the nearby beach. Nice pub/hotel, really friendly staff. We asked if they were serving food, & was told no, not till later, but they could sort us out with some bowls of chips if we wanted them too. When the chips came out they were in 2 huge bowls & the chips were amazing. Absolutely delicious. Also they have free WiFi which can be useful as it's extremely difficult to get a mobile signal in that area.

Very good. we had a very long day and just popped in to see if we could stay. It was a yes and thay allowed are dog to stay as well a very good night's sleep was had by all of my family and so much appreciated for the very short notice thanks again and we will be back
