Heart of Scotland Holidays

We stayed here to explore Scotland and had an easy gateway to Edinburgh and Glasgow. The units were well kitted out, comfortable and although small, felt spacious.|The garden is lovely, great to sit and while away some time. |Nice nearby walks to the Antonine wall and historic gardens. |Heather, our host was extremely accommodating and pleasant. |I’d happy stay again

The Logstack:|The accomodation was everything we hoped for: clean, cosy, and perfectly situated.|The central garden was a peaceful shared space that added much charm and made the whole place feel open and welcoming.||The Crew:|Heather was absolutely lovely! Since we didn't have a car, she generously offered to take us to see the Antonine Wall and some remains of settlements alongside it. |Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The team always greeted us with a smile and took time to chat with us :)||The Location:|The location was convenient. Just a short walk to Aldi for groceries, a few restaurants nearby, and close to the train station for easy travel to Edinburgh and other surrounding places.||Overall:|This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The people, the place, and the hospitality all came together to create a truly memorable stay! We definitely recommend it for everyone and would love to come back :)

We had an enjoyable stay at the cosy Kennel apartment. This site has a lovely atmosphere with all the trees, grass, plants, the tone of the wooden cabins , and the pond . Our dog liked walking round the grounds - we even came close to a hedgehog one evening . The Polmont Woods just over the big road were also wonderful, as was a late evening visit to see the Kelpies just past Falkirk . We appreciated the friendly owner being on site too.

One of the most peaceful and lovely stays we have had in recent months. The cabins are beautifully built - very comfortable and filled with everything you could need. Everything is clearly sign-posted and you are given a detailed guide which helps you find your bearings quickly. The location has the peaceful vibes of being "off-the-grid" while having all the luxuries of a modern getaway (wifi, shops etc) The hosts were so accomodating - I can't remember the last time people made us feel so welcome. We took our cat with us and she had a brilliant time as our cabin was uniquely built around all the things she enjoys - hideouts and high-up spots. I could not recommend here enough and will definitely be back.

We are coming to the end of a fantastic week going home to Somerset tomorrow Sunday 15th June. Heather and the team have created a stunning corner to stay in, central to so many places of interest and so well thought out. We have found our ongoing place to stay whilst visiting family in Larbert with our dogs and will be regular visitors moving forward. Heather has been so helpful, supporting us in finding someone to doggy sit for us after being let down by someone else asking friend Tracey to help us out which was just so very kind. Tracey was amazing with our spaniel Neville and a very stressful start to the holiday was sorted by heather which we are so grateful. Honestly if you are looking for a great place to stay, this one is for you 😀

A wonderful experience of excellent accommodation. If you need to get away from city life and wake up to the sound of bird songs every morning this is your place. Only a 30mins drive from Glasgow & Edinburgh this hidden gem is the perfect place to stay. We stayed in the Bothy which is an underground hut, has all the essentials you could ask for, the bedroom had a king-size bed which was so comfortable after our long days out exploring Scotland. Everything was clean and tidy, clearly labelled. We were welcomed by Matt & Heather as we arrived, who were so warm and welcoming and showed us to our place. We loved our stay and hope to be back someday.

We have just come back from a stay in "The Kennel Lodge", it was clean and tidy and a lovely size for the four of us and 2 dogs. The enclosed garden is a lovely bonus to be able to leave the door open and not worry. The lodge had everything we needed and we used the cooking facilities in the shared kitchen which has everything you need and more. The lodges are perfectly set up around the lovely grounds. Heather and Matt made us feel really welcome and was available if you needed anything. Would definitely stay again. The lodges are a perfect location for visiting the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel etc and close to local shops Aldi, take aways, petrol station etc. Thank you for a lovely stay 🥰🥰

Excellent vacation spot! We stayed in a cabin designed to accommodate pet cats, aptly named "Cat Cabin". Great privacy, beautiful and cozy little cabin, very quiet and peaceful; Heather was a lovely host and we would love to come back again!
