Sunny sands kiosk. The teeny little place as you approach sunny sands. Absolutely shocking service. My son has very fussy eating habits, so I politely asked the man if they could butter a piece of bread for him obviously happy to pay for it . “No, they’re used for toast.” Refused to do it! Then they’re charging £1.50 for a kids size banana! What an appalling answer and extortionate prices. The staff here appear extremely underage and clearly not trained in the basics of customer service. What kind of example is this setting? These “children” are being taught that rudeness and refusing a simple request is acceptable. Disgusting example to be setting to our next generation! On top of that, the prices are extortionate, the 3 things they offer is a joke and the venue is filthy, I didn’t even want to sit down after closer inspection, and there’s nothing inside worth paying for. To be refused something as basic as bread and butter for a child really says it all. I’ll be spreading the word to all my school mum friends about how dreadful this place is. Avoid at all costs! When someone opens something decent nearby. This place will be over before you blink an eye.

Great beach. You have to walk to get there, but is worth it. We got there by 🚆, so we had to walk from the station to the beach. The harbor looks amazing. The beach is clean. The sand is perfect for sandcastles. We got there at noon, when the water was high. After 1 or 2, with reflux, we discovered how great is the beach. Our luck, the water was warm and clean. Overall we spent an amazing day at the beach.

A famous attraction during the summer but its a quite small sandy beach. The sandy beach which they call sunny beach actually situated on the left side of Folkestone harbour. The right side of the harbour is all stone and rock. Limited amount of shops available. They have separate toilets 🚻 very close to the beach. Good view. 6 minutes drive to Folkestone Central Station 🚉.
