Nice and easy trail with all the Gruffalo animal statues along path, picnic area at the Gruffalo statue. Depending on your child walking/carry ratio, I don’t think it’s a 1.5 walk as the info suggests!

We had a lovely walk at Delamere forest. And there was a real dairy ice cream van along the route by the gruffalo with some picnic benches. Lovely little dinner spot. Quite expensive parking though, just over £10 for 3 hours, just for us to walk in a forest A little much. And the ice cream was a little pricey. But the facilities were nice I guess.

Really nice walk, we took the kids so I was pleased to see that the amenities were still open. So nice to be out and I can't think of alot of other places to go that would be as relaxing for me and as fun for the kids.
