Red Roof PLUS+ & Suites Atlanta Airport South

This Red Roof Plus is one of the most disgusting hotels I have ever been in.Avoid staying in this hotel. Hair all over the towels, bedding stained, smells like weed EVERYWHERE (even in my room and we don’t smoke), I can hear people in bathroom above mine through the vents. there was a lot of people walking outside going in and out of the lobby. Few homeless folks are roaming outside and blocking the entrance doors. Really worse and disgusting experience ever so far

Absolutely disgusting experience. First off, the entire place reeked of weed and sewage the second we stepped in — not just the hallways, the whole building smelled like a trap house mixed with a backed-up toilet. To make matters worse, they gave our fully paid room away to someone else just because we showed up a little late. No call, no heads-up — just “sorry, nothing we can do.” We had already paid full price online, but instead of giving us a refund on the spot like any decent business would, they dumped the issue on us and told us to “call Priceline”. We were stuck dealing with a long, painful customer service call just to cancel a reservation we never even got to use. Honestly, I’m glad it got canceled — I wouldn’t want to spend a single night in a place that smells like straight garbage and clearly doesn’t care about its guests. This place is a joke, and the management should be embarrassed. Avoid this dump at all costs.

Reserved the room, got there around 6pm, there was a lot of people walking outside going in and out of the lobby, first we got a room with no TV controller, the curtains were really dirty, asked for a different room we got a cleaner one but not fridge, decided to stay there. Got a flight at 6am, left around 4am elevator was off, had to walk downstairs there was a guy smoking in the stairs he asked us where we were going, he kept talking to us and hitting the stairs with his hands (he was obviously drugged) it was scary we left almost running.

Very nice rooms in a decent price, Mike at reception desk is very friendly. Always recommended. 5 min drive from the airport

We had a very good experience at this hotel, best Red Roof Ive been to so far. The rooms were clean, staff was kind and willing to help. They offer free quick breakfast, and it was very convenient to have the washer and dryer in the building. Do recommend!

While the cleaning crew could still improve their attitudes and keep in mind Spanish is a second language to some of us, I love coming here. Large suites and a manager that is extremely kind and compassionate. This area tends to need that and it's an easy area to be wary of all as the easiest precaution. Great job!!

Normally I don’t write bad reviews but jeez this place is horrible. It’s a Red Roof Inn, I know, what do I expect? But seriously… main thing to point out is the gentleman sitting in the stairway doing scratch offs, who I assumed was loitering and/or homeless. This alone wouldn’t have worried me too much except for the part where he asked me for money. When I told him, “Sorry, I don’t have cash on me,” he said, “Hey, what room are you in?”… so that was a little nerve wracking since I’m a young woman who was traveling alone. This same man was also mopping the floors the following day as I was checking out, so perhaps he works here? I was on the elevator and as the doors were closing, he shoved his hand to open them last second, got in, and asked me for money again once the doors closed. Again, don’t recommend this place for young women traveling alone. Aside from that, the rooms are honestly just disgusting. Stains on everything (bedding, towels, walls, chairs, even lampshades, literally everything), including a massive stain on the comforter that appeared to be mildew or mold. The floors have a gross sticky film on them. Took a shower after feeling disgusted being in this place, and then pulled the towel out and it had a massive brownish stain. The door wouldn’t close all the way unless I pushed my entire body weight into it - at least it has a latch lock. Again, I understand this is a budget-friendly hotel chain, but SERIOUSLY?

The room that I had had a lot of corrosion in different places in the bathroom. There was a condom in between my bed mattress and wooden flat parts. The room door only had one lock that you use your passkey to enter and did have the flap on the inside for extra protection but there was nothing on the door for the flap to latch on to it just fools to the door with nothing being on the door. The elevator had spit on it from the day I checked into the day I checked out and a lot of wasted cereal on the floor of the elevator that was never picked up for those two days. The staff cannot explain the difference between a Red roof versus a red roof plus and suites. This property is to be a non-smoking property but yet you'll find cigarette butts in the stairwell. THIS IS A VERY NASTY UNSAFE CORROSIVE PROPERTY.
