Holiday Inn Glasgow

Stayed overnight here for a business trip. Very handy as it's a 5-10min walk from Glasgow Queen Street Station. Friendly reception staff, nice spacious 4th floor room with a comfy bed. Breakfast was fine, reasonable choice and good bacon, all the standard fare but not a vast choice of things though.

Hotel was in a great location, reception and surrounding area was spotless. We had arrived in Glasgow early morning and although unable to check in, our luggage was securely stored and staff kept us up to date on progress of our room. ||Everyone we spoke to at reception or the bar were incredibly friendly. ||When we were able to check in the room was immaculate. air con was a delight since Glasgow was having a heatwave and a travel cot had been set up for our daughter. Shower worked well and bed was very comfortable. ||A great overnight stay.

We spent two nights here during our trip to Glasgow and Edinburgh, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional, the hotel is spotless, beautifully maintained, and has such a welcoming atmosphere. While the rooms are a bit compact, they’re incredibly comfortable and so thoughtfully designed that it didn’t matter at all. What really made our stay unforgettable was the staff. I had requested a small birthday surprise for my wife, and they went above and beyond to make it special. The effort and care they put into it meant so much to us, it turned a great stay into a truly memorable one. This is without a doubt one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We’re so grateful for the hospitality, and we’d recommend this hotel 100% to anyone visiting the area.

Booked 6 rooms, arrived to check in and was warmly greeted at the front desk. Check in experience was 10/10. Loyalty recognition also another 10/10. Hotel has a nice security feature to require your room key to get inside the hotel, and the lifts are great (can only access your floor using your room key). |Thanks to Naomi who checked us in, amazing and efficient. |Will definitely stay again!

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times over the past few months, and it keeps getting better each visit.||||For the price, it’s great value — the renovated rooms feel much more stylish and comfortable than a typical Holiday Inn. The reception staff are always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the rooms are spotless every time. As a Housekeeping Supervisor at another IHG hotel, I’m genuinely impressed by the presentation and attention to detail.||||A couple of small suggestions: having some robes available and adding a Chromecast or phone-to-TV option would make the stay even better.||||Overall, it’s my go-to hotel when I’m working in Glasgow — consistently excellent and great value for money.

Great hotel we use it regularly. Anyone saying it’s not clean are so far out it’s unbelievable. And if you think the breakfast lacks variety I’d love to know what you want smoked salmon and caviar possibly? Book with absolute confidence and enjoy the hospitality and Glasgow.

Cannot fault this Hotel the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and know their job inside out special mention for Morven who goes above and beyond a staff member that the Hotel should be proud to have on their payroll. Rooms lovely, fresh and very clean. Food and drink available 24 hours. Location is great. Metres from the bus station, loads of shops on the doorstep a cinema complex and a concert hall right across the road and I found 3 Italian restaurants within 400 metres radius. Taxi to the Hydro a mere £8.00 and was outside the Hotel seconds from ordering. Stayed in many Hotels in Glasgow why I never picked this one before I will never know but it will be my go too Glasgow Hotel from now on

Really well placed hotel, parking opposite and at a cheaper rate if you are staying at the hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The food is good with the breakfast being very tasty! The room is very clean and comfortable.
