In terms of the price and the convenient location you can't really go wrong, however our top floor room backed on to the multistorey carpark and the pub below which of course was quite loud late into the night with the noise amplified by the echoes off the buildings. Also there is no free car parking attached to the hotel or an easy set down/pick up point either. I found free parking a five minute walk away halfway down nearby Weston Road. Despite this, the staff were very polite and professional and the breakfast good value for money. Overall, four stars.

Lovely atmosphere when we arrived. Reception staff friendly. Ian was cleaning the fridge. Checked in, room was ready. Came back later and Ian was fixing the till. Lovely bottle of Reserve de Mirou white wine. Always friendly here. Perfect location.

The staff here are really wonderful and the hotel is clean and convenient if you want to be near the shops. ||The food is abysmal - this is no reflection on the chef who I am sure is providing the best they can with the poor ingredients they have been given. ||Parking is a pain - either single yellows overnight next to the hotel (staff warned not to leave my car there, which I can understand. The area really isn’t great), or in the shopping centre multi storey at a discounted rate. ||Safety - felt safe because the hotel has a couple of security guards. Otherwise wouldn’t have felt safe (clearly the reason the hotel has a couple of security guards). Wouldn’t have walked to my car alone at night. ||Overall wouldn’t stay again. Gloucester isn’t awash with nice hotels but there are other options in the area which are better for the same price.

The area in which the hotel is situated is more of a retail park. But the surrounding area it's absolutely beautiful. The room was clean. My only issue is that allergen foods was not at all available. The hotel response was they laughed in my face. I had booked 2 course evening meal ,2x breakfast, i had contacted the hotel previous to the booking to discuss. No email was provided for a menu at all. You cannot phone the hotel directly. And even if you are able to be passed through to them, they will not pick up. Thank goodness restaurants nearby offer a variety of foods. Stay 04/08/25 to 06/08/25

Staff were helpful but looked bored.||Minimum wage = Minimum work!||Whilst clean, the room was basic and bleak. ||Net curtain needed across the window, felt very exposed while changing didn't want to close the curtains as it was a lovey day and internal lighting was very harsh.||Shouldn't have to pay for parking even at a reduced rate.||Noise from pub below meant we had a disturbed night.||Wish we'd paid £5 more and stayed at the Premier Inn across the road.

Nice room, not really big, but big enough for a nights stay. Helpful staff. Multi story car park next door . Currently £5 for 24 hours (June 2025) with a voucher from the hotel. Will definitely stay again
