Great location, access to site in winter is a little difficult if you don't have a 4wd. Accomodation is very spacious, stairs are little tricky to navigate. The sitting room is very cosy once you have the log burning running. Quite drafty when the wind is howling round the turreted stairs. Having a great time on our Christmas break, cannot wait to sit down at the large family table on the 25th.

9 of us had the best time ever at the castle, we absolutely loved it. It took us a few days of sore calfs to get used to the stairs though!! Although the kitchen was very well equipped, there wasn't any room to put food for 9 people in a cupboard which made the kitchen become quite messy. The laundry room was excellent. We enjoyed having bbqs and had 2 on the one that was provided. Location fantastic, and the local people were friendly. Our 2 dogs had a great time.
