Clean, comfortable and spacious room. Friendly staff. Hotel was easy to get to and close to our places of interest. Breakfast looked ok but we are planning to check out a local cafe for breakfast. Good thing I don’t need caffeine to function, as only decaf coffee was available this morning. Overall, good value.

This was a very nice hotel. Not crowded and very quiet. The room was large, clean and up to date. I especially appreciate the availability of outlets for charging devices. The bed was very comfortable and the shower worked great.

Got a suite at this hotel for a family reunion. Starting with the good things about the hotel, the room was clean and free of any bad smells, the bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. The location is very convenient and walking distance to Casey's fuel station, Arby's and a couple others. Only a couple minutes from downtown Pella and we enjoyed the area very much. The reasons I couldn't give more than 3 stars: -The hotel is understaffed and you have to use a phone at the front to get someone to the front desk. No housekeeping, no spa, no extras you'd usually find in a hotel. -The TV in the suite was a tiny 32 inch and it's roughly 30 feet from the head of the bed. It was almost unusable if you don't have perfect vision. There is little to no lighting in the rooms beyond natural lighting and lamps. -The breakfast was poor, the DIY pancake machine was not functional, the apple juice spit out water, the biscuits were like hockey pucks. This was all likely due to the lack of staffing as well. Overall the hotel stay was fine, because the bed was nice. But I couldn't come up with 4 stars for the price they charge per night. The Amsterdam Hotel right in downtown was the same price as the suite we stayed in so we will be staying there next time we come visit the beautiful town of Pella.

A group of friends met in Pella and stayed at this hotel. It was simply lovely. The staff was super as were the accommodations. It was probably the best Wyndham I have ever stayed at! The conference room was large and more than met our needs. The rooms were large, clean, had terrific pillows, and great air conditioners. This is my second stay at this hotel with a group and I would highly recommend it to anyone!

This is a place that was very clean with a bed and great water pressure. If you’re looking for anything beyond you will not find it here. The breakfast is okay but again you’re getting a bargain here. The towels are tiny and you only get two. The air is not on in the room at all so open the window to cool it down while the air tries. The fridge is turned off too so if you bring a snack plan on eating it immediately because that’s not available either. This is a basic place to stay. Would I recommend for anything beyond that no. However for the price point you are getting clean, a bed, and a shower.

Comfy, quiet stay. Reasonably priced. Front desk staff was friendly. Nice breakfast. Will definitely come back.

My wife and I stayed 2 nights, arriving before 3PM to a welcoming receptionist who checked my ID for our prepay, then presented the key cards with the wifi. We took their elevator to the 2nd floor.|Room #209 was carpeted, clean and spacious with a very comfortable king, desk & chair, 2 easy chairs, closet, small refrigerator, micro, coffee machine and small TV with a guide(Bloomberg, CNBC, CNN, ESPN, HGTV, Des Moines networks, etc). A large opening window looked over the parking lot to Taco Johns. |The sink is outside, separate from the toilet with a fan and tub/shower(shower curtain & towels are too small), both supplied with bulk Dove lotions.|Good secure wifi, ample outlets, good lighting and under window AC/heat. |The 6AM breakfast was excellent and complete: OJ, fruit, raisin bran and others, yogurt, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, waffles, breads, sweets, muffins and coffees. |I swam laps in the 25’ x 35’ indoor pool and used the adjacent 3 station gym.|Overall, we had a quiet night’s sleep and enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for one night during a non-busy time of the season. Hotel staff were great and all very nice. Hotel itself was very much just OK. Things seemed quite clean, but hotel was not nice enough to justify the price of $142/night. Air conditioner was essentially a window unit in the wall and could not be set to auto mode so it just blew humid air in. Breakfast was best described as being “edible.” While physically clean, stains were clearly visible on the bed sheets.

This property is excellent. Clean, quiet and friendly. All in a very nice area. I didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. Breakfast was of typical fare and again well kept up. My king bed room was spacious, plenty of parking with good lighting. I would recommend this property 100%.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Many options for food choices, and appreciated all the choices that were available. Appreciated having smaller food items (smaller bagels, smaller biscuits) which allowed me to eat that plus more. And the chocolate chip muffins were a special treat.

Overall a solid hotel option, and our default choice when visiting the area. The rooms are generally quite large, with both some sort of seating area and a comfortable bed. The rooms are also clean, and any issues we've had have been quickly resolved by the front desk. I especially like the lamps with wireless charging built in! The breakfast has gotten better over the years, with a bit more variety added over time. The one major improvement I'd like them to make is to get larger TVs. The TVs almost look comically small (32", large bezels) compared to the backdrop they're mounted on. The TV service itself is great (HD quality and has DirecTV options) but the TV itself looks pretty dated. It's not a big deal, but it would remove the one part of the room that consistently feels not-modern.

We had booked a room over a month ago when I checked on it they couldn’t find my reservation so we had to rebook. When we got there yesterday, they gave us keys for the room. We booked walked in and it wasn’t cleaned. It was filthy. The cleaning lady somehow skipped cleaning that particular room. So we had to book another room which was not handicap accessible which we needed. The breakfast was very subpar. I don’t think I will be staying there ever again even though previously we’ve stayed here multiple times before and it’s never been this low of quality
