Lucky Vista Motel

My wife called to get a room. Explained how dyer her need for the room is! Was told it would be under a hundred a night! The room was extended by the current occupant! The next available room that came open has a king size bed! She told my wife she was going to charge her over 400 dollars for one night! I called to ask for a room and was told that room was 86 dollars with a one hundred dollar deposit! Shows the character of this establishment! If you get a room here do not express dyer need because they will try to take advantage of your need for help!!

One of the worst experiences I had staying at this place. Stay away. Room was dirty, no towels, toilet paper sitting on the dirty floor, no shelves in the dirty frig and looked like the freeze thawed out and they just plugged it back in and didn't clean it. No turn table in the microwave and was very dirty. The shower was very worn down, no drain cover, handle broke off when we tried to turn it on and took 10 min to just get warm water. The TV had no sound, bed was uncomfortable, squeeked every time I moved and it was just all around dirty. The exterior was filthy, over flowing garbage cans, broken windows, beer bottles all over and the sign to the hotel is completely broken. Pay the extra money and stay somewhere better.

Got here, check in was quick and easy, staff was really friendly and helpful. Our room is decent for what we came here to do (sleep). There is definitely a “lived in charm” about the place. Clean, no bugs. Firm mattress and soft pillows. Though I would have liked to see a small trash can in the bathroom and somewhere in the room a sheet on how to work the shower (it’s a pull DOWN knob on the faucet, if you were wondering). This isn’t 4 seasons but for our $$ we got a good deal. We would stay again. 🙂

The front lobby was closed when at a hotel someone is supposed to be available at all times. The rooms were horrible half the lights didn't work. There was hair on the sheets. The whole place smelled like pot. Hardly any toiletries in the bathrooms. The beds were not comfortable at all. It looked like what they had done was take the sheets and just flipped them over for the next person. The whole place was horrible period. Definitely do not recommend this motel at all. Your better off spending the extra $50 for a room somewhere else.

The room was spotless the staff was very friendly and helpful. While I was there they had one guest that was absolutely a handful but the staff still handled it very well. And I do mean this lady was absolutely ridiculous. She was running to the office for sheets sometimes twice a day, with towels more then twice a day the staff always done what she asked even though that wasn’t good enough. She tried to get a discount by saying there was roaches in the room however my room didn’t have any and I was there for weeks what makes it suspect is she didn’t have roaches till her 4th night there. I am sorry but possibly be cleaner I walked past the room when it was being cleaned after this woman left and if she calls that clean I’d hate to see her house she probably brought the roaches with her honestly. I felt bad for the staff. I know the exterminator comes for preventative spraying at least every 3 months as I said been there for weeks no bugs friendly staff and the rooms are very clean the girls that work there clean every room spotless. They have an older woman there and she raves about how good the staff have been to her she loves being there so much she said she would be staying there for months. I will visit the motel again because it is awesome to have such a wonderful place to stay when you have to be so far from home. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay when I have to come back in a few months I will definitely be coming to lucky vista.

Please do not do business with this motel. I rented for 3 days. Once I Got there they told me there was a 100.00 CASH deposit along with the CC. I was not able to cancel so we went and got the cash. They showed us to our room which was clean and descent. There was no key. Had to get staff to let us in when coming and going. One night had to get staff for a plunger. No phones in room. Had to send my 16 YO daughter while I stood in doorway and kept an eye on her to office. Told office didn't need maid service just new towels daily ..NEVER saw anyone after that. Upon checkout I went to office several times to check out and get my deposit back....not once did they ever show up. I tried to call with no answer and emailed with no answer. I live about an hour away and was going to lake so I did try until 6 PM when I left to head come. I took pics of my room when I left and have the receipt of deposit. Horrible place. I usually give places a shot even if low cost motels....not so sure I will do that anymore!

The place looks like they tried to renovate, but guest are messing the place up and running it down. I found items that were left behind in a drawer and fridge. Drawers, fridge and microwave also were not wiped down inside. I want to feel sorry for the ownership, but that's just gross. 2 light switches also did not work by the door or in front of the desk. Half the lights in room were not working. Front desk was nice but the sign reserving the right to refuse service or kick people out kind of discouraged any confrontation on room issues. Was worried they would get upset at me over room conditions. TV also had about 1/3 of the screen that would go in and out. Room was also stained with smell of pot and sometimes it could be smelled outside . I was honestly concerned that I might find used needles in the room with everything that was already an issue. Wish I didn't book online because I would have just left when I arrived. If you're looking for a good night's sleep, spend the extra $30.

Stayed here for about a month, until better opportunities came about. Absolutely loved Shauna, she's so sweet and very helpful. I heard bad things for the past owners, but the new owners make sure it's safe, and clean. It's quiet, and there's not a lot of crazy traffic. There's BBQ's outside for guests to use. If I ever need a escape place, definitely coming back.

Don't think this joint is open. Bates Motel. Dark. Deserted. Weeds growing out if parking slots. One faint light on in the distance. Bad vibes. This is a big ole NO WAY!
