Good, easy path, interesting rocks along the way. Great place for a walk and parking is also great. Free with benches, they only ask for a £1 donation if you wish, which I gave because its well upset and would like it to stay that way. + the amount is fair IMO.

Great walk, good mix of flat and inclines with stunning views. Clear path to follow. Option to extend to longer walk if that's what you would prefer. Small carpark available at the start of walk - there's a suggested donation of £1. Walk to the waterfall is dog friendly 🐾

Glen Vale Waterfalls is a reasonable walk for most people, but not suitable for those unable to walk at all. With parking at a number of entry points, the walk is a mixture of shielded and open spaces with stunning views. I won't spoil this area with too much info, but: On windy colder days, gloves, hat & windproof clothing makes it an absolute joy. Walking boots are recommended if you want to explore all the area has to offer, as it can become a bit marsh -cross -country in places where the path is not so frequently walked. If bringing dogs, please, please put them on a lead at all times during lambing season and expect to need to do this i.e. use an extending lead if you want to give them some roaming space.

Picturesque small waterfall in a scenic valley set amongst green hills. An excellent place for hiking, with clearly signposted and well maintained paths. There's a small free parking area at the start of the Glen Vale trail, about 40 minutes walk from the waterfall. From here you can extend the walk by around 3 hours with a circular hike to the summit, Hill Cairn and down past Bunnet Stane. The full circular walk is about 6 miles long with an elevation change of 1200 feet. An information board at the beginning of the trail covers the area's geology and history, giving visitors a better understanding of their surroundings. There are no facilities on the trails, so bring refreshments if you're planning a long walk. The parking area was almost full when I arrived on a weekday in January, so I'd imagine it can fill up very quickly on weekends and it might be wise to turn up early. To get up close to the waterfall requires careful negotiation of a sandstone ledge, easy enough in dry conditions but a challenge when I visited as it was quite icy.

A really lovely walk up to the falls, during the winter I would recommend good walking shoes, continued up to Harperleas reservoir and returned the same route, there are other signed paths that may be worth exploring in the summer. Decent car park. Distance walked 14 kilometres.

Beautiful place nice quite walk to the waterfall from the car park its about 37 mins walk, nice for kids, family, dog walking. Didn’t explored much there just been to the waterfall fall and back due to time, however there is few more spots to visit in this place, which would be amazing as we can see on the guide map in car park. Hope you guys dont miss the other spots.

This place is a hidden little beauty... Walk along a footpath, easy enough but not for users I would say. Then turn the corner to a stunning waterfall and pool. I was amazed when I saw it, and so close to home. Easy to find on google maps and a little car parking space. I only past one couple when I was there with my dog.
