Newly redone BnB, formerly a pub but now only serves breakfast for guests. It had a very comfortable bed, and a Nespresso machine in the room, which I appreciated. Tim was lovely and takes great care of guests. Highly recommend! The walls are thin, so if you are a light sleeper like me, you may want earplugs, but it did not detract from my overall enjoyment, as I came prepared!

We stayed for one night at this lovely b&b managed by a couple. We don’t realise it was only and b& b and not a pub so we thought we could get there in the evening and checkin in and have a drink and a meal but we found the owner had gone home as we got there after 6pm and thankfully managed to get him to come back and let us in via the door ring bell. Thank god for that! Thanks to him too! The rooms were reasonably spacious and very clean and tidy. We felt it was a bit expensive for what it was but that’s possibly due to the bank holiday weekend! The breakfast was basic but nice. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a nice basic b&b. Very nice owners

The Red Lion is a wonderful place to stay. The rooms are large, comfortable and pleasant. The downstairs dining room is available for guests to use at any time. The breakfasts are generous, and the hosts friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Located near the center of town, the rooms are great. We stayed there while walking Offa’s Dyke and it offered a much needed rest. It certainly was a pleasant surprise.

We spent 4 nights with Tim and Denise at the Red Lion. Fantastic room with comfy bed, coffee machine, bath and shower. They were excellent hosts that made us feel at home and were very accommodating. A wide variety of breakfast offerings including a full cooked English. We really enjoyed our stay here and can highly recommend it. Perfectly situated if walking Offas’ Dyke.

We had a great stay at the Red Lion during a walk on Offa’s Dyke path. Tim was a really helpful host, beds were comfortable and breakfast was excellent - highly recommended!

Great bnb in a gorgeous little town! Staff were super friendly and accommodating to us and the two dogs who were properly spoiled! Breakfast was great too.

We had a fantastic 3 nights at the Red Lion Knighton. The rooms were very good, great food and excellent hosting. Also very dog friendly, will definitely be back and the countryside is stunning.
