Opposite Cafe Meanwood

This new coffee shop is fantastic! The baristas are friendly and the service is superb. I sat in the back where there is plenty of comfy seats and was able to do some computer work! I had an oat flat white which was delicious and my partner had an oat mocha which was also tasty. The coffee was from local North Star roastery. We shared their millionaire shortbread and brownie, which I believe are made onsite! There were wafts of freshly baked goods coming from downstairs. The atmosphere is modern and open. There is some cool coffee related artwork and plenty of house plants.

I've been three times over the last 6-12 months and each time it has been a very pleasant experience. The coffee is lovely and the selection of cakes/sweet treats is great. Good access to wifi if you like to do a bit of work. I wouldn't recommend meetings due to the acoustics but apart from that it is a fantastic café. The best coffee in Meanwood

Highly Recommend for the best coffee and Buddha bowls in Leeds. Absolutely love this little gem in Meanwood. Usually go for a walk through the Hollies and head to Opposite for my morning coffee!
