Liked: A secure, attractive & peaceful site with friendly, non-intrusive campsite management. Well kept, clean shower & toilet facilities with hot water. Short walk to an excellent pub (booking essential at weekends). Excellent location for accessing events at Newark Showground (10 mins drive). WIFI free and adequate, but there is a good 5G signal anyway. Disliked: No hot water to the outside washing up area.

Liked: What a treat this site turned out to be. Beautiful flat grass pitch. Quiet site in nice well kept village less than a mile from the main A17. The owner Judith, is very friendly. The site is about a ten minute walk to an excellent pub the Generous Briton where we had a lovely dinner. The toilet/ shower was vey clean and warm. Plenty of space to get changed and plenty of hot water This site is 2.5 hours from where we live and will certainly be our “go to” site as a stopover when we travel further from home. Disliked: Nothing to dislike.

Liked: The staff onsite were so friendly and so helpful, anytime they passed us they spoke to us whether it was just being friendly or to check we were okay and enjoying ourselves which was really nice. It was our first time in our caravan and the onsite maintenance guy was super helpful with anything we asked for help with. Onsite toilets were very clean as I’m sure the showers would have been too (we didn’t use them on this stay). We felt very secure, very chilled and very well looked after.. so much so we ended up staying an extra 2 nights. We will be back and we highly recommend your site.

Only charged £10 for the night me and motorcycle. Owner made me a coffee when I got in and provided a place to dry my gear out which was a godsend. The owners were very nice to me, maybe the other people reviewing just weren't being polite haha... The shower room is like an actual bathroom you would have at home. It was like heaven after being soaked on the bike.
