Had a Fantastic stay with the family. The staff were lovely and very helpful especially in the restaurant. Food was of a high standard and good choice, nice to have cooked breakfast to order rather than a buffet. We used the pool, tennis courts, walked to the local town and back along the beach as per the hotel walking leaflet. Great value for what you get and will go again.

Two night stay midweek, our room was in the more modern block in the grounds. Large king size bed , lovely bathroom with huge shower. The Spa has indoor and outdoor heated pool, sauna and steam room,two jacuzzi’s.|The diner on both nights was superb, as was the range of breakfasts available to suit all tastes.|Massive grounds for long walks to the beach and woods, well worth the effort.|Highly recommended, it was our fourth visit.

This is our go to place for a relaxing break. We have a room with fire place to give it that extra comfort and atmosphere. Food and service are fantastic. Staff are so attentive. Its our 5th stay and we will be back. We have taken our dog as well before so he gets spoilt. Take a walk on the beach and then grab a pint in their pub down the road. Food is good in there as well. Make sure you book the restaurant to avoid disappointment.

The location is stunning and the rooms are beautifully decorated, but what truly made the experience special was the staff—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. My sincere thanks to all of them.|There were just a couple of small issues that slightly impacted the stay. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived too late for the dinner I had pre-booked as part of the package. It would have been appreciated if an alternative, such as lunch or the option to reschedule the dinner for the following day, had been offered.|Additionally, there was a noticeable smell of mould near the bed—though I couldn’t pinpoint the exact source. It was strong enough to affect my sleep, as I had to turn away from it during the night. If possible, it might be worth investigating and addressing.|Despite these minor points, I would absolutely recommend this place and would be happy to return.

We had a lovely lunch and decided to come back the following week for a two night stay. |Not quite up to expectations, the dinner was rather mediocre, certainly not at the same standard as the lunch. The accommodation was very comfortable but the decor was very dark. The spa and pools were outstanding.

Our room was lovely and conveniently located right next to our friends’. The spa facilities were excellent - we especially enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor pool and jacuzzi, where Archie the resident peacock casually preened himself nearby as we soaked! Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a perfect way to end our stay.

Wonderful - but on the best rate. Massage, in-door & out-door swimming at the spa, lovely.|I'd say go there just for the food. The choice is limited but with daily changes and cooked, prepared and presented superbly - great food, great service. Breakfast was excellent too. I was introduced to porridge with a splash of whiskey!|The hotel is a bit quirky, but that's the charm. Many old buildings with delicate modernisations - but not to all rooms. We had a bath with a shower - a big overhead one but only a smaller hand held, with nowhere to fix it. The room was spacious with old furniture (some drawers were really difficult to open) and tea/coffee making facilities nowhere near the power socket!|No USB sockets and no reading lights over the bed, but we slept well. We'd go back but would be much more choosey about the room.

Enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea with family in delightful surroundings. The sandwiches were delicious so much so we requested more which they were happy to replenish at no extra charge. The scones were huge, I couldn't eat any of the delicious cakes but was provided with a box for me to bring home. The tea selection was extensive, a glass of alcohol on offer at extra cost.
