What a hidden gem this is and the owners daughter was very very friendly spent a lovely afternoon in this place the Guinness was amazing the new barmaid was awesome and people was very very friendly would I be back one million percent I would recommend this place to anybody thankyou guys for making me feel so so welcome that goes along way in life....

This was a very unplanned stop on our trip across the UK. It turned out to be a great experience. Very friendly staff and the rooms were clean and very well priced. We didn't end up eating, but the drinks were good and also reasonably priced.

A bit of a tardis of a pub, traditional front bar with lots of old features, but the pub keeps going back and back. More rooms then 2 pagodas and a beer garden as long a 6 neighbouring terraced houses. It's huge. Good pints. Quirky locals at the bar during our visit, but squeeze past them and these loads to explore.

Sweet little pub, fantastic beer garden! Stayed at the hotel too, which is fine for what you pay, not amazing but good enough and location is top notch

Popped in for lunch, partner is Coeliac and the menu is very inclusive. Pub appeared quiet and we were waiting a good 40 minutes for our order, however weren't disappointed when the food did arrive. Flavoursome and great portions.

Sadly this pub has gone down hill, it used to be a great traditional pub but sadly I think the owners have lost interest and it's become dirty and unwelcoming. The toilets are dirty and very uncared for. Some of the staff are more interested in eating behind the bar or on their phones. Not brilliant........ sorry 🤷

Visited with some of our ladies football team today after a less than pleasant experience at a pub just down the road. The two bar staff were very welcoming and friendly, and sorted last minute food orders for us! The food was lovely, and the pub itself is beautiful. Can’t thank the staff enough for their service today! It was very much appreciated! We will definitely return when our fixture is rescheduled! 😊

So nearly a 5 star. Food quantity and quality deserve a 5 but for the time it took to arrive and that everyone had to add salt. However we recommend the green dragon and would visit again
