The Conigre

This is a very comfy little boutique hotel. I spent a night in "Fagin's Den"; a very compact, but extremely clean and cosy little room, which was ideal for one night away for a meet up with friends at a nearby reunion. I enjoyed the shower, and complimentary toiletries , which added a little luxury to my visit. There was a plentiful supply of tea,milk and coffee. Breakfast was wonderful too. Thank you 🌞🌻||

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern, staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful, sorted a room to fit our needs, which most big hotels wouldn't do. Breakfast is made to order so nice and hot. Was a lovely 2 days away.

The room was clean , warm and well sort out everything you needed. Will definitely stay there again a lovely place to stay

The Conigre was a great place to stay. I was up here for a week through work doing a course and work had booked us in for the week in this little gem of a place. It had a large spacious and clean room with breakfast being delivered to our door every morning which was a lovely touch. The location of the hotel was perfect also with everything in walking distance. The bars, restaurants and shops Andy the owner was very helpful and even upgraded me to a larger room which was the icing on the cake. 5*. I cannot wait to stay here again.

This little gem was a great find We stayed in the David Copperfield room which was lovely bathroom beautiful It's quite central to the town bit. We had to cut short our stay(due to family emergency) The owners where lovely and even gave us a reduced amount on the price which was so kind (we didn't expect it) We definitely recommend this little hotel and will definitely be back this year at some point If you get a chance to stay here then do so

Very comfortable weekend stay in chalet room adjacent to Conigre with a friendly welcome from Andy, the owner. Bedroom was roomy with comfortable bed and pillows. Easy walk into Melksham. Recommend the Market Tavern pub with varied menu and huge portions and relaxed friendly atmosphere. Breakfast at Conigre had a choice of full English or continental, served by friendly staff. A suggestion would be to promote local produce for breakfast and the toast could be improved by sourcing locally baked bread. |I would definitely revisit and highly recommend to other visitors.

Fabulous little hotel. The owners have carefully created a wonderful environment. I lovely old farmhouse, clean, well appointed room with loads of charm. A fabulous cooked breakfast too. We really could not fault this and Andy is a fantastic host. We look forward to for a return visit.

Stayed with the wife and very impressed with the space. Had own mini kitchen with complimentary drinks, lovely shower and comfy bed. It was very clean and was left to enjoy our stay without any interuptions. Parking available although quite tight. Highly recommend.
