I arrived in Norwich for the first time and was completely blown away. The staff, especially Emma ,I believe one of the owner were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was cozy with beautiful, high-quality cotton bedding, and the antique-style bed felt like lying in a nest.Slept amazing!!Super clean! Superb location! I will be back and highly recommend it! Emma suggeste lunch at the Turkish restaurant gem at the corner and this as well was scrumptious !!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I stayed at Central hotel a couple of weeks ago and it was a pleasant surprise. Service was really good: late check-in, coffee offered in the morning and they let me work from the canteen after the check-out. They are very flexible and make you have a great stay. I rented a room with shared bathroom, it was clean and no queue. The room was clean and quiet with plenty of space. A great choice.

Certainly the best hotel in Norwich. We enjoyed the stay so much in May, we made a return visit in June.|The hotel is near the railway station on the riverside with well appointed rooms. A beautiful breakfast room with a view of the river. With a great selection of items for a continental breakfast. |Excellent rooms, spotless ,comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom with hot water ,showers that work, and beautiful towels.|The staff are amazing. Emma the manager is the kindness lady and it shows through her staff who really can't do enough for you.|I highly recommend this lovely charming hotel. |

I was a single traveler from Alabama who stayed at this hotel for 13 nights while visiting friends in the area. The room was warm, clean and practical. The single bed with ensuite included everything I needed, including a comfy single bed with 2 pillows and a fluffy duvet, USB ports, and kettle with a generous selection of teas and coffee. The room came with hand soap and hand lotion (both in a pump), and the shower was equipped with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. The armoire in the room is worth mentioning, as it was highly functional with different compartments where you can arrange your clothing and shoes in the shelves provided on once side of the closet. On the other side, I was able to place a small clothes hamper under my hanging clothes (hangars are provided) within the armoire. I appreciated having a place to tidily store my things! I was also able to easily adjust the radiator in the room (there is another in the bathroom). It works great and the room gets warm very quickly when needed. There was a little noise at night from the street outside, but I slept well every night and didn’t need to use my earplugs. On to the hotel service… I can't commend Emma and the team enough. All members of staff were courteous, helpful and extremely polite. I appreciate the attention to detail. For example, I like milk with my coffee, so housekeeping noticed and provided me with ample milk pods and coffee sachets each time they serviced the room- without me having to ask. Each time I had a question about the area or needed something (like a hairdryer, which they happily provided), I was greeted with warmth and enthusiastic service. On this trip to the UK, I was looking for a budget hotel so I could stay a bit longer and still enjoy the basic amenities that hotels provide. What I received was much more that that- a good room with those amenities, yes, but also 5-star service that made me feel I was coming “home” each night, being greeted like family every time I returned. Emma and team, thank you for a wonderful experience. I heartily recommend the Central Hotel Norwich.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room nice and clean. No air conditioning so room too hot and due to proximity to road too noisy to keep window open. Plumbing from adjacent room(s) very noisy.

Booked the supreme room. Has own en-suite rather than shared bathroom.|Staff gave a polite and friendly welcome through check in. |Room looked tidy. Bedding was clean and crisp as were the towels. |Bathroom was a little run down with layers of silicone over mouldy silicone and paint peeling off the walls, but water was a good and steady temperature and pipes didn’t sing. ||Chose to have breakfast out in Norwich as so many places to choose from but the hotel breakfast room looked light and airy.||Hotel is based on quite a busy road near the station and just across the river from the main clubbing strip so can be a little loud if you are not a heavy sleeper, especially with the souped up cars and bikes revving up and down. ||Ideal place if you want to experience the night life of Norwich
