We came to Norfolk on holiday, visited this pub earlier in the week and today for Sunday dinner, had to leave abruptly as I’ve had a stroke been left sometimes coughing on food and didn’t want to put everyone else off.. but wow. Absolutely amazing quality so quick the best steak I’ve ever had and Beef Sunday dinner, thank you so much, I didn’t get to say goodbye as I was embarrassed, hope to return in the future. The man and woman are so lovely who served us and behind the bar

Fantastic pub, with lovely owners and staff. Very dog and child friendly, not necessarily in any order. We had 4 lovely meals, with drinks and puddings for some, all under £100. Absolutely packed by 7pm on a Tuesday night, tells you all you need to know about supporting a local business. Certainly worth a visit even for those out of the local area.

Nice lunch with family.two if us had the steak pie and the second couple had the fish platter, which was tasty but a bit on the small size .only a round of toast each and for some reason the sharing platter included 3 prawns and not four ! Lack of toast was quickly out right as was adding some requested lemon for the fish was much appreciated the pies ,full of great tasting beef and gravy were excellent as was the included fresh veg selection and homemade excellent chips Atmosphere very good and this was our second visit to this character full pub with excellent smiling staff.

My musakka was a large portion and tasted so wonderful! The staff were friendly and warmly welcomed. I found the ancient well (I think it's ancient 😊) in front of the Lady's toilet door. That's interesting!

Would highly recommend this pub. Very kind staff, excellent food and brilliantly helpful with an allergy in our group. Kids meals were also free which was an extra bonus!

We had a fantastic evening, drinks and food were amazing. Nathan who was running the floor was amazing so organised and knew exactly what was going on. We had no intention of eating there this evening but it was Nathan that made us decide to stay for food,a real credit to the business xx
