The Lions' Den

10/10 experience! The two saunas are super clean, and the mix of plunge pools at different temps is perfect for cooling off between sessions. The staff are friendly, helpful, and know their stuff, which makes the whole place feel really welcoming. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the outdoor coffee shop is a great spot to just sit back afterwards. We didn’t try it this time, but they also offer paddle boarding along the river, which looked like fun. Really good value for an hour slot — already looking forward to my next visit.

What a perfect evening to end our bank holiday. Comfy seats by the river, fire, marshmallows, and some fantastic live music! Also had the best hot chocolate too! Perfect place! Can’t wait to go again :)

Spent a lovely afternoon here! We went paddle boarding initially. It was our first time on the boards, but the instructor explained how to use them well. Afterwards we went for a sauna and cold dip. It was a lovely, chilled atmosphere! In the sauna you can look out onto the river. There is water and orange slices available too. Really felt the benefits physically and mentally of this. Highly recommend! Only thing to mention is the parking onsite is for the pub only, so if you’re driving in you need to park elsewhere.

Spent an hour here after paddleboarding, so relaxing. Sauna's great, plunge baths definitely an experience. Very nice, friendly staff! ;)))

The perfect date night…we did the scent hour sauna session at 7pm. It was so cosy with all the lighting and beautiful surroundings. The fresh oranges and water were a nice touch. Enjoyed a hot choc, beer and a game of cards afterwards by the river whilst keeping warm with the fire. Absolutely will be back!

Super cozy and wholesome experience. The sauna and cold plunge were great, and the staff were really welcoming and helpful. Afterwards we had a hot choc which was to die for, and given hot water bottles & blankets to cozy up with. Would recommend to anyone!

WOW! I took my husband last night and we absolutely loved it — so much so that he’s now threatening to get us a monthly pass! The staff were truly wonderful — friendly, welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. What an incredible place, right by the river — such a hidden gem. We’ll definitely be back very soon!
