I started coming to this cafe in 2018 when I worked across the road in the business park and now in 2024, even though I don't work on the business park anymore I'm still going, both on my lunch break at work and in my free time. This has to be my favourite cafe. Never had a bad meal or experience here. The food, especially the Thursday Lasagna Special, is amazing! Such good value for money and so tasty. So much choice for food, staff are so friendly and accommodating. They have seating, so you can sit and eat in as well as take away. I constantly recommend to all my friends, work colleagues and family and will continue to do so. I will continue to be a regular customer here for many years to come. Thank you to all the staff for everything, they all are incredible.

Our cycling group visited the Lakeside today. I had lost my Garmin cycling computor and suspected it had been stolen. Andy and the staff at Lakeside could not have been more helpful and went above and beyond to help me retrieve it. Great Cafe and lovely people.

Lovely staff, friendly and appeared to enjoy being at work. Nice breakfast, menu said 'full English' but was missing the fried bread & black pudding but I'm sure if I asked they would probably have it somewhere for an extra cost. Was glad that the price for a 'full English' included a drink.

Great little place tucked away in the business park. If you're looking for a bite to eat to take away or to sit down with something a little more substantial, it has you covered. All sandwiches are made fresh and to you liking with a variety of filling choices. Pastries, hot food and cake are also on offer. They have specials for certain days of the week, sadly not every day. The staff are friendly and very welcoming, making you feel right at home. There can often be a long wait if you go during the working week lunch hours and service can be a little on the slow side in terms of managing it. It can also be a little confusing going in for your first time, so be sure to ask the friendly staff. Overall if your in the area and want a fresh bite to eat that has a home made feel to it at a reasonable cost, you should certainly stop by.
