All the items we bought from James and John Graham were stunning. The steak pie is up there with the best I’ve ever had and the pork and apple pie and focaccia loaf were also excellent. The staff are really friendly and the selection of high end, great quality produce is huge.

Lovely shop with a great selection of products including fresh breads, jams and chutneys, coffee beans and tea blends and pastries, among other things. We bought some very intriguing jams and some freshly ground coffee; the staff were very helpful in recommending us some blends to try. Highly recommend!

Wide selection of good quality foods and teas, their own and some decent other brands. Fresh foods and cakes on display look delicious (haven't tried many yet) Especially love their loose tea offerings which are reasonably priced too. Always come here to stock up on tea.

Hands down one of the best fruit scones we ever had. It was soft like a sponge - almost mimicking the texture of a cotton candy. Without any sugar and preservatives, we were really able to appreciate what the plain flavours had to offer. The sultana (dry grapes) comelemented it so well. The butter fine tuned the taste and made it more exquisite. Just a pound per scone, with 10p for a butter portion. Definitely recommend to whomsoever visiting Penrith. The staff were pleasant and explained us why we could not store them for more than a day - they are fresh and naturally made. It also tends to get hard as the day passes by. We're glad we found this place.
