A Home From Home 2

On arrival the place looked inviting and we were greated by Kathleen who was very nice and polite. She had no idea we had booked, so i had to show her the booking from hotels.com and the receipt.The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also clean and well stocked. Unfortunately thats where the niceties end, when we booked it was for bed and breakfast and use of kitchen and garden. Kathleen informed us that they do not provide breakfast and the kitchen and garden was also not avalible. We booked through Hotels.com. Kathleen informed us that she stopped b&b over 2 years ago. We will now have to pay extra for breakfast and meals. This is false advertising.

Booked this thinking we would have use of the kitchen and garden (as advertised) but it was not so just a small room with kettle and microwave, no utensils. Also shared small bathroom with 2 other families. Would not recomend.

DO NOT BOOK . Booked through booking.com and promptly got booking instructions saying call number 30mins before arrival, I messaged straight back saying won’t be arriving till after midnight, response was no one there after 10pm at night to let us in , I responded with do you leave self check in , no response, requested cancellation no response, they have basically ghosted me now and no refund , they do not state this on the booking as I obviously wouldn’t have booked it . Really disappointed in people dishonest service

We only stayed overnight as we were catching the ferry early the next morning. The house was immaculate. Upon booking, I didn't have much of an idea of what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised! The owner met us at the property and explained that we were the only people staying overnight, so we had the bathroom and shower room to ourselves. There was a shared kitchen and we were invited to use anything we found there (including bacon, eggs, sausages, fruit, toast, tinned items). Would definitely be happy to book again, although I don't know how we would feel about sharing the bathroom!

Absolutely amazing! Thank you so much to Kathleen & Colin for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It felt like home for us! If you ever want to stay in Plymouth this is the place to stay! Only a 20 minute drive to the ocean & ferry terminal

Superb four room accommodation. Mine had a double and a single. TV, kettle and fridge. Two bathrooms, great fully equipped kitchen. Self-service breakfast available. Very clean. On-street parking. Very affordable.

I stayed a night here. Hostess was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were super clean and very comfortable. The bathrooms were excellent as well. Free wifi. Breakfast was self-service and had plenty of choices. Over all very very good.

A nice little bed and breakfast in Plymouth. We stayed a week and used it as a base for our tours in Devon and Cornwall. You can cook your own breakfast here and you can also use the kitchen in the evening. Very nice landlady.
