Charlie's Bar

Probably the best beer garden location? A big shout I know especially considering the many beer gardens with a view in Cornwall... it's just I'm not quite sure there's many in a dramatic a location as underneath a monstrous granite viaduct! Also saw a local band called wolf note which topped the night off! Serves a good selection of beers and spirits with the Charlie Chaplin theme running nicely through the pub.

What a great place. Never eaten there only been for special nights out. Relaxed crowd, always met someone new to talk to. The drinks are not over priced. Friendly and professional staff. Fantastic beer garden. I should take pictures of it really but it's usually a night venue for me 😂😂. Maybe next time I'll get night garden pictures

Great place for a good drink and live music. The music they played was rocking and the bands that came on were very fun and quality. Their music was a throw back to when I was younger and enjoyed going to the pub. I'm not sure if it was because it was the first week in January but there were a lot less people around than I expected. A shame really because they missed out on some quality tunes. The bar was well stocked and the staff were friendly and polite and I enjoyed chatting with the bar maid, she made me a great drink with kraken rum and even kindly gave me the empty bottle to take home for my display. I will definitely be going there again. Hopefully the next live bands will have more of a crowd. All in all a fun quiet night with the chance to catch up with family and it also gave me the impression of a quiet romantic place to go out to.

Lovely atmosphere, and a great place for live music in Redruth! Very nice to see somewhere giving local bands a stage. Has bars on different floors so that you can choose to have a quiet drink, or get right up front and enjoy the bands! Friendly staff, and a very different beer garden with a feel all of it's own come the evening.

An amazing gem of a find this place. I believe it is only open Thursday to Saturday nights but it is a quirky pub that puts on live music of all kinds most weekends. It is a lovely place to go and have a quiet drink if there is no music on and they have a gorgeous outdoor garden area up the back steps that is directly underneath a large viaduct train bridge. It is all lit up with fairy lights and you feel like you are in another world. Aaron to owner who runs everything is a solid guy who is really friendly and fun. Well worth a visit if you are in the area and they stop german beer on tap and JB rum. yum :)

I went to Charlie's bar to see the gig of a good friend of mine, the venue is a little small but it had a decent crowd, there wasn't much going on for a saturday night, even though we only got there at 9. Service was good, and if you just fancy a quiet drink and a game of pool this is great place to stop in.

Great place for a few drinks. Service out of this world
