New Hall Hotel & Spa

The hotel is absolutely stunning and looks very historic. Beautiful moat and Lilly ponds with bridges etc. duck house too…||Positives||- the staff are all so friendly and very professional |- rooms well looked after and clean. Beds were comfy|- decent choice of spirits and cocktails in the bar|- the bar menu was extensive and the gourmet burger was decent. My wife had the fish and chips which were also cooked well. ||Negatives||- the spa was quite small and limited seating. Didn’t feel high end. ||If we were in the local area again, we would definitely return.

We stayed here for 4 nights as a family of 4 and we had the most wonderful time!! The Manor House itself opens the doors to the past and the historic charm of the hotel and grounds are exceptional. During our stay, we were warmly greeted by Laura at reception and our rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard by Tracey who went above and beyond to cater for our needs. During our stay, my partner booked an hour long massage for me - it was undertaken by a lady called Yasmin who was excellent - it was the BEST massage Ive had in a long time- she is an asset to your hotel. Thank you for making our stay so worthwhile - I highly recommend New Hall without reservation

I stayed at New Hall for a relaxing 2-night break and only wish I’d stayed longer. ||From check-in to check-out every single staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I have to give particular mention to the lady with the brown hair at breakfast, and the gentlemen on reception and at the pool (sorry I didn’t get your names!) all of whom were fantastic. ||My room (49) was well decorated, spotlessly clean and blissfully quiet with lovely views of the courtyard. The robe and slippers were very welcome and perfect for popping to the pool which was a short walk from the room. The pool and spa area is very well tended - clean, warm and very relaxing. I was able to get a lounger no problem both times I visited and had the place to myself for a chunk of the time!||Highlight for me were the hotel grounds; which are huge and perfect for a post-breakfast walk on a sunny autumn morning! As for breakfast, again service was impeccable with good buffet and cooked options - as a veggie I can certainly recommend the “zalmon” plant based salmon!

For my birthday, my mum, Aunty and best friend visited Newhall for Afternoon Tea and we were not disappointed. ||The service was warm, welcoming and very attentive. The food was delicious. With enough for all and then some to take away as we couldn’t finish it all!||As an extra special treat, I was presented with a posh desert and a rendition of happy birthday. ||The setting, staff and Tea were all more than worthy of a 5 star review. I would definitely recommend this and furthermore, I plan to revisit and sample the evening menu!||Thank you Newhall for a super special experience. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff. Quiet rooms, lovely quiet rural setting yet not far from the busy Birmingham motorways . Lunch excellent great quality and plenty of it re corporate package. Free small gym, plenty of parking and ev charging. ||Breakfast could be improved only average, really tight portions which was a little confusing, offered toast given one very small half sized piece, cooked breakfast ok but just one small item. Great this right and it is definitely 5 star

We had a lovely stay at New Hall Hotel and Spa. The massage was so relaxing and the spa itself was a real treat with the pool and steam room perfect for winding down. The atmosphere felt calm and welcoming which made it easy to enjoy proper family time together. The gardens and grounds were beautiful for walks and exploring which my son loved. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. The only thing I would say is the food and drinks menu is not very child friendly, but otherwise it was a really enjoyable break.

We recently celebrated our son’s first birthday In the Great Chamber room. A huge thank you to Isobel, who oversaw the event – she was absolutely brilliant. So professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail and calm, can-do attitude made the day run smoothly and allowed us to relax and enjoy the celebration. I’d also like to give a special mention to Sophie, who was on hand during the event and was lovely and supportive as well. The venue itself is stunning, but it was the wonderful team – especially Isobel – who made the day so special. Thank you again!

My wife arranged a surprise dinner & overnight stay to celebrate my birthday. Everything was perfect... excellent dinner... very comfortable room & super breakfast but most of all the staff were great. Jack in the bar excelled !! We will be back !!
