Great course. Need to play it a few more times to get used to the greens. Had a great time though and will return again.

Wow! When I saw the negative post from someone a couple of days ago, I just had to check it out. This course is beautifully maintained and the staff was very accommodating. It’s a hidden gem for sure! Adorable clubhouse with a grill, bathrooms plentiful all throughout the course. All players were friendly and helpful.I was told they have a wonderful dog named “Trap” who frequents the course, but unfortunately we did not see him. Golfing with dogs is heaven and any course that loves animals is my kind of establishment. Gary Wood, a staff member, could not have been more considerate and nice. We were in our car waiting for a friend to meet us there after we played and we had a set of clubs sitting behind our vehicle and he came over to make sure that we didn’t forget they were there and run them over. We then engaged in a conversation, and he also is a golf lover, who golfs all over the country as we do as well. I live in Oklahoma and this course is about 4 1/2 hours for me but if I lived closer I would play this course several times a week for sure. If you enjoy a course that has kept a lot of the vintage characteristics intact, this is definitely your place to go. They have a wonderful patio outside the grill area, they have the original caddy covers throughout the course on different holes. Can’t say enough about this golf course. It’s a true treat and if you’re in the area it’s a must play!!! ⛳️🏌️‍♀️🏌️ UPDATE: My second visit, as wonderful as the first!! My good friend from Arlington met us there this time. He loved it!😘🥰 Saw Gary Wood(s?) again and he gives GREAT HUGS! Wonderful customer service from Karen 🎉✌️ and got to finally interact with “Trap” a beautiful Brindle Boxer with an adorable underbite 🐶🐾🦴 also met Joel, who was a handsome young fellow 😊😉 even the maintenance staff were very accommodating and friendly. A little slice of Heaven is Shady Oaks!!

I have played here several times this year. By far the the best I've seen the greens and fairways, this last outing they were in outstanding condition. I look forward to playing here again and again.

The hidden gem... I am from more west Texas butI really enjoy this golf course. I just went about a week ago and the fairways and greens were soo nice. Won't find nothing like this in Midland/Odessa area in a public course.

It’s a very nice and pretty course for the money , it’s short and easy to play .. the negatives would be the golfers , never repair a divot or ball mark on the greens and we’ve had balls land near us while we were still kn fairway on our second shot which is dangerous and rude . Other than that it’s a fun place to play

Played here Saturday and Sunday and both days were awesome!! Friendly staff, great amenities, and helpful signs along the course. It’s hidden gem and in great condition. Will definitely be back soon!!

Nice location away from city buildup. Good green.

This is a super nice course. Plays short but very nice. Par 70. 75$ 18 holes including cart.
