Because of dangerous flooding in our area and across the state, we had to cancel our trip to Waco. The timeframe to cancel was a few hours past, so we called to see if they could would still let us cancel. We were told (pretty rudely) no. I asked if the manager (Sonny) could call me back, but he never did, and we were charged full price. I’m pretty sure hotels have discretion in these situations, and I’m disappointed they didn’t want to help a customer in the middle of a situation that has been stressful for everyone, both emotionally and economically.

Positive: The staff is very professional friendly and kind. Whenever we are in Waco we stay at this hotel. Negative: I honestly can't think of a thing.

Coffee was empty every morning I was there - except Sunday when I left. There was never sausage AND eggs, there was one or the other unless there was neither, except Sunday when I left. There was both sausage and eggs today. Whoever cleaned my room was fantastic. They need a raise.

I booked a room on the first floor for 2 nights by one of the entrance doors and I was getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and couldn't even stay in the room for the night and just went home so I didn't stay in the room for the 2 nights I bought because of the mosquito infestation. Never again 👎

Positive: The room was great and well-lit. Very nice place to stay. Negative: The breakfast was a little disappointing in that they were out of some things when we got there but they did replenish the scrambled eggs. This was because a H. S. band had just come through and left before we got downstairs. No biscuits and gravy?

The rooms were clean. We were given a fair price without reservations. (Probably would have been given an even better price had we had reservations.) They offer breakfast in the morning, but they are also across the round-about from Magnolia Table. Our boys really enjoyed the pool! I really liked that there was a single brew coffee/tea maker in the room with single pod coffee and tea creamers and sweetners. Very thoughtful!

This place is very clean. The front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. David the Operation Manager was the best I have ever saw and I stay at hotels and travel alot. He had a smile on his face everytime I saw him and was willing to help in any way to help my stay feel wonderful. This place makes you feel welcome and want to come back. I highly recommend this place to stay!

Mrs Felicia made our visit so pleasant. She was very kind and gave recommendations for places to see and eat. The room was very comfortable and clean. Convenient location but the reason we would come back was the hospitality and kindness of Mrs Felicia. She went above and beyond.

Check-in was good. The guy at the counter was very nice and polite. We asked for a noon checkout due to traveling all day. He said, of course! Clean room. The food was awesome! Everything was amazing til right at 11am. The banging on the door and then Felicia called the phone. Demanding us to get out. We tried to tell her at check-in, the guy said we could stay until 12. She called us a liar. And was arguing with us. When we go down to counter to get a receipt. Again was very rude and wouldn't listen. Gave us major attitude. Started yelling at us. Kept saying Bye over and over very loudly. Then a man kept following us out the door. Felicia needs customer service training. Also, the reservation was in my fiancés name. And yes I have the correct location!

Crappy customer service, the manager was being rude and would not let me get my items which had my medication in it mind you, out of the hotel room. Wouldn’t even allow house keeping to just go verify that my belongings where in the room. Was not accommodating at all. Worst experience I have had.
