The Landings on Silver Lake Apartments

After my husband had a stroke, we moved to Landings in downstairs apt. On February 1st 2025. Since day 1 the Manager and Office Assistant along with our Maintenance man, Tabitha, Olivia and Sam , have been so helpfull and very quick to handle any situation. Not due to their fault, my fridge died and they got a new here within 30 minutes ! Staff is so friendly, it makes it enjoyable to live here. Sam has helped us alot even on weekends to assist my husband and I. He is a excellent fixer upper! Very quiet and pretty here and well kept apartments that make it comfortable to relax in. So glad we moved here! Don't hesitate to try it out here!

The apartment complex has pros & cons. Most of the recent five star reviews are due to a letter being sent out to everyone saying if you leave a review you could win a free TV. I disagree with this as it’s buying five star reviews and that is a red flag to me as a company you shouldn’t have to offer a free TV for good reviews and chances are no TV was even given out. The area is nice and convenient but the apartments are extremely outdated. Paint is literally melting off our bathroom walls that haven’t been fixed. The shower handle breaks off constantly. Our dish washer leaks and breaks down constantly even our kitchen cabinets are falling off hinges (etc.) We pay $1,060 for our two bedroom which in this economy I guess isn’t the worst but it continues to go up every May by $100-$250 without any major updates and repairs to the apartments. The good news is we haven’t had issues with rats or bugs so that’s a huge benefit despite things being outdated everything is still clean. Maintenance tries to get out of working a lot and half works projects which in return makes us have to contact them more often because it’s never done right the first time. I’ve had some disagreements with management and how things have been handled previously but overall things were resolved. Overall the stay here isn’t horrible but they’re definitely things that need to be fixed and considered. Keep in mind the company that owns Silverlake is actually in Texas. Overall I would recommend staying here for a short stay but not long term.

I’m a current resident at The Landings on Silver Lake. It is such a lovely complex. Very understanding and helpful staff. Bo has helped me figure out everything from applying to live here, to now. It’s got a beautiful pond with a deck overlook, a gym open to all residents, a pool, and a laundry unit. It is very convenient to have everything you need on site. I have had absolutely zero issues with anything while living here!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Landings on Silver Lake! From the moment I moved in, it has been an extraordinary experience. The management team deserves a special shoutout – they are incredibly responsive, friendly, and always go above and beyond to ensure residents are happy and comfortable. The community amenities are second to none – from the sparkling pool to the well-equipped fitness center, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The social events they host foster a sense of community and make it easy to meet neighbors and form connections. If you're looking for a place that combines comfort, luxury, and a great sense of community, The Landings on Silver Lake is the absolute best choice. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to call this place home!

I am a current resident. I have to say, living at The Landings is FANTASTIC!! Tabitha is a great property manager. She is understanding and compassionate. Sam in maintenance is a rock star! He is personable and can fix just about anything. Olivia is a terrific addition to this great staff. The building and grounds are well taken care of. I’m kind of picky. However, I have to say I have no complaints.

Excellent place to live. I’ve had little to no problems. And the only problem I had was fixed as soon as I moved in. Tabatha has helped me multiple times and is great to talk to. I really appreciate Bo as well for working with me and still considering us as attendants considering I’m 18 years old. If you’re looking for your first place or just a new one. This is it.

All of the staff is phenomenal! Tabatha & Olivia in the office are always so friendly and happy to help. Sam & Chris with maintenance are both so quick with any issues! Definitely recommend this property!

The maintenance and office staff are all great! Whenever I’m out walking my dog or heading to get my mail, they always greet me with a friendly hello. It really makes the community feel welcoming and like home
