The Mole Resort

We recently stayed at The Mole Resort with two families, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish! We had two beautiful lodges that felt just like home spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The hot tub was a real highlight and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The restaurant served delicious food, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The play area kept the kids happy for hours, and the location itself is stunning peaceful countryside views all around. Everything about our stay was excellent. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend The Mole Resort to anyone looking for a perfect family getaway in Devon!

We went to The Mole mid-week for a meal. The restaurant was quite busy for a Wednesday evening, it had a good atmosphere. The staff were so nice. Rosie our waitress was happy and smiley. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was tasty and well presented. Dev the Manager was also very welcoming, as were all the staff in the restaurant. Will definitely be visiting again and also the vegan options were good too.

Nice location, although it is isolated. We had a Superior room in the courtyard. The room was nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom was definitely in need of a make over. Food; breakfast was very good, nice selection and hot food was made to order. Evening meal was okay, expensive for what was an average meal. Didn't use the gym but I saw it had plenty of equipment, used the pool which was fine the water was on the cool side getting in but was okay when you started moving around. Hot tub, steam and sauna were good. Unfortunately, the changing room was poor, the floor was dirty and I took one look at the showers (no shower gel) and decided to wait until I got back to the room. The changing rooms are supposed to be checked every hour but they are not keeping it clean. The standard of the changing room is very poor and not in keeping with the resort. The staff through out were very good. This is great for families, but as a couple it's not for us.

The resort is pretty amazing with fantastic cabin. Perfect for a family gateway. There are 2 amazing pubs nearby and wonderful paths. The only things I would improve are the changing rooms to access the pool and the spa as they aren’t very nice ( especially compared to the rest of the resort). The other thing is that they didn’t give us any explanation about how to do the recycling in our cabin and considering they are eco lodge it would have been nice to do it properly. Other than that, it is absolutely recommended!

Absolutely stunning resort, we stayed in the main house. The room and ensuite were perfect. Very friendly staff on reception desk. The surrounding areas are fabulous. The swimming pool and spas made the visit even more perfect, being able to use the facilities before check in and after. Highly recommend, can't wait to go back.

We enjoyed a lovely family stay at The Mole this half-term. Our courtyard rooms were bright, airy, and spacious, with all the amenities we needed and beautiful views across the courtyard towards the manor house — a truly picturesque setting, especially with the night sky and beautifully lit trees.||The resort had a wonderful seasonal atmosphere for Halloween. We joined a brilliantly hosted family quiz night (great fun for all ages!), enjoyed a delicious meal in the Cellars restaurant, and started each day with a plentiful, hearty breakfast that kept everyone smiling.||The children were absolutely thrilled with the gorgeous pumpkin patch, their pumpkin-carving masterpieces, and the spooky Halloween trail that wound its way around the resort. Swimming was another highlight — a perfect way to warm up after braving the autumn chill!||It was the ideal mix of comfort, fun, and family time in such a beautiful countryside setting. We love it here and will definitely be back — perhaps next Halloween, if not sooner!

Wow. Absolutely beautiful place. We loved absolutely everything about it and would love to stay again as we only had 2 nights. The dog had such a lovely time. We had meadow view 222. It was beautiful, could have lived in it. The hot tub was boiling hot and in the evening under the stars was wonderful. The walks all around the park were great and although we didn’t use any of the activities, they all looked great. We had dinner one night in the restaurant, the service from the younger waiting staff was exceptional, they should be highly praised as we sat next to two very very rude couples who complained about everything and the waiting staff handled it with absolute class. Food was ok, it wasn’t anything special but we did enjoy it. Devlin was our bar man and was fantastic, very polite and friendly. We would 100% recommend this and would love to return.

Visited for a weekend break, amazing views and so peaceful, really beautiful place to stay. Team were all really friendly from reception to the bar. Breakfast was delicious and thank you to Ben and the team for looking after us. Dinner was very tasty and the restaurant was relaxed and enjoyable. We had the Sunday lunch too and I would highly recommend it. |Thank you so much Mole team we will return for sure.
